I finally got my Mom a smart TV and introduced her to UA-cam. Last night I get this LOOOONG text about this awesome show she is watching. Blah, blah beautiful this... amazing that... you know, right? Idaho native here. The Moose fire burned over 130,000 acres. It wasn’t fully contained until the end of October. It was the largest active wildfire in the US this year. It was incredible harsh on the city of Salmon this year. It’s the 3rd year in a row my travel plans(and many others) for adventure riding have had to be altered for fires, due to peoples reckless and irresponsible behaviors.

This looks like where I was cycling to. From Liberty Lake, WA to Magee Airport, ID. I used to attend college at NIC in Coeur d'Alene. There is a mystery of Idaho that is infectious. I love it.
My nephew, who is the forest ranger for the Salmon-Challis National Forest, was hiking with my brother when they spotted the forest fire that broke out at the 55 minute mark of your video. Not only was the fight given up within hours of its outbreak but it burned until winter and all they could do was manage the path and try to protect property. He also missed our family reunion at Lake Kachess in Washington. Forest fires and serious and proper campfire management is a must. Great job controlling that smolder. Great videos. My wife and I vacationed in Boise Idaho a year ago to visit family and contemplated moving there it was really nice. In reference to the Clamato, we drink it with an opt.(XX Mexican) Beer, celery salt, Worcestershire sauce, tabasco sauce, lime juice, salt. I don't think it has any clams in it. LOL. Enjoy!

You really got my attention as you hit the French Creek Grade, and stopped at the bus, as I knew you would be at my home soon. Unfortunatly you did not B-roll the footage right at the bottom of the grade, as I grew up directly across the river at the mouth of French Creek on Robbins Creek on the Standish Ranch (Great Uncle and Aunt), however you did catch my cousins Berry Binnings old cabin site, where the Big Rock (June Rock) as we called it, at 36:09, then camped on the beach just up from My Uncle Matt and Vera's old cabins. I did enjoy the Yellowpine adventure, as I spent a lot of my early life up there working for the locals cutting firewood, and opening the mining roads for some of the smaller outfits. The Big Creek and S.F. footage was beautiful, well, all the footage was beautiful for the complete video, but these captured my home in such a beautiful way. Thank You for the Wonderful Video. Let me know when you will be in the McCall area again, and I will teach you how to make Clamdiggers, with Vodka, as the Clamato Juice was Intended. Meanwhile, GODBless your Beautiful Journeys, and always stay safe!!!! NAMASTE
Thanks for showing me parts of my original home state that I've never seen. Born & raised in southern Idaho. My favorite places are the crystal clear lakes of the Sawtooth Mountains. Now in N Florida.
Clamato is best when mixed with beer for bloody Mary's. You all passed my avorite Morrell mushroom spot & some great fishing! I have been on many miles of those BLM highway. Great video, happy the you tube algorithm fed it to me, it must know I am a native Idahoan. Thanks
Burnt Knob Lookout on the cliff is so neat at 52:00. Also, the Bear Grass being so thick is impressive. You did a very professional job with filming, wonderful drone shots, editing. Area around Avery, Idaho is neat with old railroad and so many tunnels and bridges. Glad your newborn baby was healthy. Thanks for sharing.
Been to that bus and all over that area. Really cool to see you guys in my stomping grounds, Hemlock, French mountain, Pierce, Headquarters, Grandmother Wilderness area, and etc. These areas I grew up in and still go there often for snowmobiling and overlanding.
Almost been 10 years my family and I been living here in SE Idaho, Caribou County is absolutely beautiful!! We have mountains surrounding us, we live in a valley that accumulates so much high wind pressure systems and it certainly made for our worst winter ever last year. Never experienced anything like this living in Kansas. I could literally be mowing one second and then it's snowing another second..... it's another world when you can see a white wall of snow coming your way. I'm serious too....a full on snow filled walled. So calm so beautiful....but harsh......and I'm the biggest whimp known to man and IM NOT READY for this 2023/2024
I've done a fair share of RVing across the country and had to sell my Winnebago and now have a Bronco and considering ovelanding adventures. Unfortunately I'm disabled, and a severe hemophiliac with a lot of physical limitations, hiking is definitely challenging so I probably wouldn't be able to do a ton of that. I'm sure with the right gear, pace, and group I could probably manage. A rooftop tent may be out for me due to my limitations, and I'd need some gear that I can easily setup/tear down. I'd just love to get out there and be a proof positive that with the right setups, people in similar situations could still enjoy what's out there. I'm in the southwest and there's just too much beauty to miss out on. Love your videos and adventures! Keep up the great work!
Rob. I watch just about everyone's videos and you really do the best presentation of all. Thanks so much for this effort. I'm definitely putting this on my bucket list. ❤️❤️

Thanks
Congratulations on your next generation. Love your photography skills.
Fantastic!! Thank you for sharing!! I’ve NEVER seen so much bear grass!!!
Another gorgeous video of a gorgeous part of the country.
Thanks for the beautiful views I have never seen Idaho didn't realize it is beautiful
Absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for sharing this with us.
I’ve been all over Idaho. My favorite is magruder corridor all the fire tower roads are good times
Love the views!! And like always your drone footage is so amazing!
Great editing! Beautiful work. I love your video. Thanks guys.
Absolutely stunning drone footage and stellar editing... well done sir!
What fantastic views! I may have to add ID to my future overlanding list.
Been to that bus and all over that area.
Really cool to see you guys in my stomping grounds, Hemlock, French mountain, Pierce, Headquarters, Grandmother Wilderness area, and etc. These areas I grew up in and still go there often for snowmobiling and overlanding.
First class video Rob. Keep them coming.
First time watching your channel.
And I really enjoyed it, Great comradery, Beautiful views really love the river.
Wish wish I was there !
So calm so beautiful....but harsh......and I'm the biggest whimp known to man and IM NOT READY for this 2023/2024
Great job Rob!
Great place. Camped at this out outlook for 2 nights in 2019
I live in PA but have wanted to move to ID for the last couple years. What a beautiful state
I've done a fair share of RVing across the country and had to sell my Winnebago and now have a Bronco and considering ovelanding adventures.
Love the river boats and the US flags! Beautiful!
Flags, lol
@@SD-pi9co Funny, huh?
@@clane1700 Yes, the infatuation with symbols in American culture is funny. Muh flags!
@@SD-pi9co flags, tattoos, jack up town trucks, it all about look at me! Aren’t i something to see?
Awesome video! I just discovered your channel and look forward to watching more
Love this! I just bought an off road camper and this is what l want to do! Sure hope gas prices will be a lot less!
They're already far lower. We went at the peak of the prices, unfortunately!
We watched again, we’re from Idaho. Very good.
Rob. I watch just about everyone's videos and you really do the best presentation of all. Thanks so much for this effort. I'm definitely putting this on my bucket list. ❤️❤️
What another incredible video with great scenery views , stunning pictures, videography and awesome sound. This is so way better than watching any discovery channel documentaries. You rock. And congrats to the new parents for such beautiful bundle of joy. Enjoy and manny blessings. Keep those videos coming.
Awesome footage and editing! Never thought of how beautiful Idaho is, will have to make a trek out that way someday.
Came to N.Idaho in 1989. After all these years and land prices, expensive now,rhe place is incredible
Shhhhh.☝️. Million dollar condos...way too many new homes. The lake shore is being consumed. You say North Idaho...Sandpoint here.
