Hi George and Xeno! I was so distracted before I had to actually re watch the video. I am so happy I did. I would have cleaned out those cheese boxes at $1 each. I have dreams of clumping a bunch into a randomized wall box. Some going horizontal, some vertical and even leaving negative spaces too. I think it would make a statement as a house for collectibles. 😊 Plus cheese is my favorite food group 😂
We loved it when the Charles Chips guy came! I think it may have been into the early 70s. With 4 kids and a lot of baseball games to watch in the summer, we went through a lot of cans! We always turned them back.
Oh yes. The guy actually went door to door asking people if they wanted anything. Then he would go out to the truck and got it. He would always let us climb in the truck with him. @@TheAntiqueNomad
I laughed so hard at that pin that Xeno held up! I so need that for my dad... he just spent 20 days in the ICU in Port Angeles, then 20 days in rehab. He nearly died twice! He is doing great now, at least for what he went through... and he is a chronic complainer! LOL So you guys made my day with that!
George and Zeno o thoroughly enjoyed coming along on this part of the highway sale. Lots of neat old stuff, but boy, prices seem higher this year don’t you think? Best of all is the feeling of being among friends! Travel safe and be blessed gentlemen
Good evening, George! That largemouth bass figurine had my attention...for a couple seconds 😂 I would've cleaned out those old keys. Love the old furniture keys. I would've had to get a few of those old traps, too. I liked the cream topped milk bottle, with the spoon. We still use one of the Tupperware pickle caddies. I like those old rooster and hen sets, and I have a collection 12... + or -...of them. Some were from my grandparents. Great deal on the iron kettle! I'm loving the one I got from you! That 400 mile yard sale looks like it was quite the adventure. Thanks for taking us along!
Xeno was a Bob's Beauty in a different life.😂 The rooster coffee pot and mugs were a yes for me, even if it didn't work. The cord could have been in the coffee pot. This really looked like fun.
Thank you for taking us along! Kentucky is such a beautiful state! That Tupperware that Xeno got looked like a pickle keeper that my mom had! Not sure if that’s what it was. I still have some of her Tupperware & her Pyrex & corelle pieces!
I really liked that Viking bowl and those smaller Fenton pieces. This looks like a lot of fun and worth the effort of all the driving to get to each one. Safe travels and have a great day
No two chips or cracks are the same. Even a recently mass produced 50 cent plate can become worth collecting or even valuable if it has a unique chip.. Perhaps, a double crack separating interesting chips. What a find!!
Hello! Do you have a booth at the Twin Lakes antique mall? If so, I think I purchased that Frankhoma Christmas card from your booth - the one that we couldn't find with the butterfly on it. that I finally spotted at the back of the booth. I had no idea that was you!
Believe it or not, there was an a large explosion in our neighbourhood which blew the slate tiles off our roof. I still have one of the tiles and I use it as a trivet just an idea - why don’t you either inlay a tile into some cool wood or frame it and sell them in your shop.!
I'm surprised you didn't grab all the cheese boxes at a buck each. I would have bought every one. I normally sell everyone I list on my Etsy store for $20 and up if they have solid graphics and are in good condition.
They do a thing like this where my mom lives in Washington (Grayland)... "30 Miles of Junque" LOL You guys were cracking me up in that liquidating store 🤣
15:04 Bad Subject matter for collectibles that you always see but NOBODY wants : Presidents , Antique Autos, Eagles (especially when they are poorly done), Horse & Buggy , Hillbillies (this can include "Maw" and "Paw" Kettle type imagery- Non-Beverley type) . Also Banks that say "I'm Saving For College".
My God; I HATE crocks. I cannot understand why ANYONE would want one in their home ! It's like having an iceberg or a fire hydrant sitting there in your living room. Just so dreary and awkward 9:23 ............... You know when you see builders using bricks before they build something - and the bricks are all neatly formed into a nice big square block on a skid ? I'd rather have THAT in my living room !! LOL.
In awe of your knowledge and the beauty of America and her people.
Tnere's a lot to behold, I"m glad I've had a chance to see so much of it!
Very enjoyable time ! Learned a thing or two 😊
I love how you and your partner can do what you love together, both are so knowledgeable ty😊and fun to see the goodies to eat,❤
😊 thank you
Hello from Oz. Enjoyed not only the vintage search, but also the scenery. Looks like a beautiful part of your country.
It's the best part of the country, in my opinion. But I admit my bias. 😂
You're living the dream, George.
Feels like it some days
Love that dark Crystal lunch that's one of my favorite movies growing up and still have on DVD
This was fun! We don’t have anything like this here in Hawai’i. Oh, that Hawai’i ceramics pattern is called tapa.
Oh my goodness!!!❤❤❤ I would LOVE to be able to attend the 400 mile yard sale.. can’t wait to watch, thanks for sharing!
Thank you for taking us along George and Xeno! Nothing like this in Alaska....
I know a good store in Delta Jct. though :)
8:27 THE DOTTED PYREX ON THE LEFT. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU PAST THAT UP , RARE PATTERN

Me too!
Shoot! If only I'd known, I'd have picked them up for you. Cheese is amazing
@@TheAntiqueNomad If you find a stash like that again yes, please!
Loved going along with you. ❤ JoAnn

Oh, it was home delivery! That explains it

Nice to see a shop coming back 🦩🌴🌞
I love seeing the old Avon bottles with the perfumes still in them, I love to wear the old fragrances!!
Good evening everyone. Jumping on late 🦩🌴🌞
Wild george it's a good thing Zino is with you to keep an Eye on you. Ha ha ha ha, there is so much stuff.!!!!!
Wild George, I love everything you got especially the teapot.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'd have bought the wooden box with the picture of children on top! The writing on it enhances it's ephemeral quality for me😊
Thanks for taking us with you!!❤
Thanks for taking us along, I love listening to your thought process. Definitely can’t have store prices on the road side 😂

I laughed aloud too! I'm glad he's doing better, wow
Great video George! Thanks for sharing!
Love seeing you two in action on your 400 mile journey! ❤🎉❤🎉❤
Always a treat! Ty George! ❤❤❤

I am amazed at the great distances you drive! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to travel and learn with you. You are the best!

You pick up nightlights as well. I've been picking them up lately as well. :)
I love watching your videos, i find them all so interesting and educational. Thanks for creating these videos! Keep up the fantastic work!
Watching from Florida
Amazing road trip and some fab stops , you are making a horrid U.K day more bearable.
Xeno was a Bob's Beauty in a different life.😂

Lol I think so
Love your videos!! Thank you so much for your knowledge
You are just so knowledgeable 😊. Love to tag along through these videos.❤️
18:25 The Tupperware Pickle Puller Upper . Not an easy sell , buy that color is delightful.
Enjoying your video. Would love to do this!
I loved going to the world largest yard sale. We would start in Northern Kentucky and only make it to Louisville❤Always a good time❤
Thank you for taking us along! Kentucky is such a beautiful state! That Tupperware that Xeno got looked like a pickle keeper that my mom had! Not sure if that’s what it was. I still have some of her Tupperware & her Pyrex & corelle pieces!

Lol..that looks unpleasant. Gorgeous drives, thank you.
Years ago we went to part of this in TN. It was great
I would have been very excited to pick up that large wooden stamp set at $10.

I'm surprised you walked past the Pyrex 4qt Green Dots bowl!
I think I saw electric rolls for hair, I like that
I’ll have to rewatch the beginning. I was late.
Wow! Amazing video i enjoy your knowledge California
George, did you see the old plastic Kool-Aid pitcher and cup around the 28 minute mark on an outside table? Cute...
Nostril hair trimmers are a thing... 😂 Especially, if you're going to use up shots instead of shooting directly in front of your face.
That is a field cradle . I saw one years ago in a high end antique bed store .
The cheese boxes were a steal at $1. And they looked to be in great condition. I easily get $10 a piece when I have them.
I had one of those Tupperware pieces you got. They were sold as "pickle holders". Love your videos.
You didn’t say, so I’m.going to point out that the tall green Tupperware piece is a pickle keeper. I had one!
That tupper ware is the pickle jar they use to sell.
I can't wait to get to a place where there are highway sales! Hopefully NC will be the spot!
The green Tupperware container is a pickle keeper.
Thumbs up Nomads 👍👍🦩🌴🌞
High5, great vid my dudes.
Hi George and Xeno. What a treasure hunt. T
I would love to do this sale!
You should! We'll caravan.

Addendum: One RETRACTION: Back in the 1980s ; vintage ZODIAC stuff was JUNK. It has gained strength -- I never see it anymore !
My problem is I would have filled my van with all the 50 cent and dollar stuff I could have gotten 5 in $10 for
You havent forgotten me have you George?
HI, Bobbi! I have not forgotten you! I'm sorry I've been so busy
@@TheAntiqueNomad I am glad George. Thanks.
Pretty please

When was this event?
This one was a few months back. There were more up until last week. I'm having a storehouse sale in my western Kentucky location this weekend
