Thomas you have no idea how much you’ve helped me change my life and go from 300lbs to a lean and shredded 189 lbs Thank you and God Bless you and your family America needs you! I share your information with anyone who is seriously seeking to make a positive change in their lives. Keep doing what you love Brother..
Alvan Vela that’s awesome! Congrats! Thomas DeLauer and Dr Berg are my two primary go-to health gurus, and by watching their videos and following their advice have helped me to lose 40 lbs over the past six months. I’m 57 years old and look like I’m in my early 40s. Happier now than I’ve probably ever been. Keep up the great work you’re doing!
Everyday my breakfast is: Decaf (adrenal fatigue), MCT, Ghee, Cacao, Salt, Cinnamon, Vanilla Bean Powder, Coconut Milk, Collagen Powder, Erythritol. Bike to work, fast, bike home. Keto dinner. Anxiety is gone eating this way.
I'd like to try this but would probably first need glucagon to keep my sugar balance steady. When I tried to get into keto I could not even bike to school without my bloodsugar dropping way too low. Hopefully the artificial pancreas thats being develloped in The Netherlands will be on the market soon and be covered by insurance.
Have been strict Keto 7 months and been reluctant to drink bulletproof coffee ...until this morning after watching your UA-cam video! Wow...amazing effect... I added ghee, coconut cream, cinnamon, turmeric ,cacao & collagen ( all in my Keto cupboard). Thanks you have really helped! Sadly I am in UK and unable to access Thrive...and as yet not found a reliable & affordable Keto supplier.

If olive oil is basically at room temperature or put in room temperature water does it denature as well because I either make cold coffee through cold brew or I basically use instant coffee because I don't have a machine of my own, the cold brew I use Black Rifle coffee beans that I break open either with a rolling pin or a blender and I add a little olive oil or if I'm using the blender I'll throw the coconut oil in and just leave the blender on and filter out the grinds and I already have my coffee or I can put the grinds in a little cup that goes inside one of my bottles as an infuser.

You're a natural educator, it fits my learning style and connects all relevant aspects to my prior knowledge. A+!!!! I am very appreciative!!!! When I started my healthy journey to be rid myself of obesity related illness, I recieved a non alcoholic fatty liver disease diagnosis through labs and ultrasound. I had just completed a Bachelors degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences. It's funny because my doctors referred me to a nutritionist and it was one of my professors!!!! I did more research and 6 years later I found your channel. Your channel's content fills in the gaps of my scope of learning and it sparks not only my interest in research; but also how I implement what I've learned. Inflammation attacks the whole body and so many studies show that it can be remedied. Could you recommend specific videos that I can hone in on?
I started adding coconut oil to my coffee a couple weeks ago. Wow, just a teaspoon of that or so each day really boosts my ketone level. I went from .4 to .9 mmol in just a couple hours - with no exercise. That really opened my eyes to how powerful the MCTs are, even in relatively small amounts. I'm interested in your recommendation here to also add ghee. I bought some ghee from Costco a while ago and have been using it in cooking, but not yet in my coffee. I was blending butter for a while (bulletproof style) but it made me run to the bathroom (maybe I put in too much?) and raised my glucose. I think the ghee could a good alternative. Thanks for the tip!
Thank you ! I want to know how much to add and only one a time or combination several in one cup of coffee. I add turmeric cinnamon cream together in one cup of coffee
I make mine with black coffee, ghee or unsalted butter, coconut oil, turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon and stevia. It literally tastes like a cinnamon roll in a cup.
When i first started keto my whole body had such hi heat and im normally a cold person but since then i havent been as sensitive to cold or heat and have had a better experience with temperature regulation. I also eat 3 times the calories but have been loosing 3 lbs a week
Good information but can you please clarify a bit on Cinnamon? It sounds like cinnamon helps push sugar into cells. Does this inhibit weight loss by increasing fat production in cells?
A pinch of salt to the coffee powder makes the fresh brewed coffee smoother this I learned from my mother who learned this from her mother @Thomas DeLauer what can someone do who’s gallbladder was removed to digest and break down fat better A huge thank you for making those educational videos this is not only helping myself but my friends too cause I share them at my Facebook blog
Cinnamon mimics insulin.... it binds to the insulin receptors on your cells, just wondering, does it open your cells up the same way insulin does? If it does it might NOT be a good idea to add combined with fats. I combine cinnamon only post workout combined with fast proteins, low fat. If it does not open up cells I might reconsider my choice in adding it.
Hi Jose but I thought I would try to answer. Yes it will break a fast . Ok so your giving your body food or energy so yes it will break it . When fasting stick to black or water. To maximize your fast . I hope this helps and good luck to you. I looked this up about a month ago stay strong!!
Ask yourself, what biological process do you want to achieve by fasting? Then ask yourself, does nutrient/molecule xy interfere with that? In a positive or negative way? How much? For how long? Now coffee already includes thousands of compounds, so it will be difficult to give you a precise answer. Keep in mind that everyone brews coffee differently too!
Many people have asked and still waiting for your reply Thomas to amounts to add. I see you commented on the one with adding "meth" but an actual serious, good comment to amounts I don't see. If it's somewhere can you let me know please. Also Great Job on all your vids, they have been most helpful. Thank you
Thomas, Thank you. Very useful information. Additional to cinnamon and turmeric, I add two to three cloves, and some powdered fenugreek seed. Boil the water for 5-10 minutes and add instant coffee to the brew. Fenugreek helps in preventing the hair loss and most importantly, clears the lungs, which is helpful during these days so all sorts of corona viruses.
I added turmeric to my coffee this morning and I was skeptical on how good it would taste because well turmeric tastes reminiscent of sweet pickles and dirt. However this morning I was pleasantly surprised how delightful it was added. I will be adding it more often
thank you so much for your knowledge and guidance. I've been doing keto for about 2 months now and I'm still learning more and more from you. you've helped to change my life for the better. thanks so much, Tom!
That would probably be a matter of which type you would benefit from most, but the ones I've seen have a mix of a few. You can look up what they do, and which brands say they have the kinds you want. Whatever you use, though, it should be grass-fed.
I like using Anthony's Collagen Peptides made from wild-caught fish powder (from scales). It's made a huge diff on my skin; facial lines have all but disappeared (age 64), forearms smooth and free of "barnacles". Amazon sells it.
Awesome video, as always man. I always feel smarter after getting through one of yours. Can anyone confirm that of these 10 only the mushrooms and Beta Alanine should be consumed during a fast while saving the others for your eating window?

Could you recommend specific videos that I can hone in on?
everyone take a shot of Ghee every-time Thomas says "literally"

So adding coconut cream is okay when you are intermittent fasting? I’m just checking...sounds too good to be true.
which of these things can you have if you're fasting though?
I take L theanine with my essay most days for high focus and calming. Great for add and slow cognitive tempo.
A pinch of salt to the coffee powder makes the fresh brewed coffee smoother this I learned from my mother who learned this from her mother
@Thomas DeLauer what can someone do who’s gallbladder was removed to digest and break down fat better
A huge thank you for making those educational videos this is not only helping myself but my friends too cause I share them at my Facebook blog
My morning brew consists of MCT oil and Collagen... ☕
Love to put 4th & Heart Ghee butter with Himalayan pink salt in my coffee. Tastes soooo good!
If i add any of these items while on my fasting period, will it break my fast? Please explain, Thanks.
G Hundreds
Great info, as always Thomas. I know it's been asked here before, but which of these items are good if someone is fasting (and not on Keto)
Many people have asked and still waiting for your reply Thomas to amounts to add. I see you commented on the one with adding "meth" but an actual serious, good comment to amounts I don't see. If it's somewhere can you let me know please. Also Great Job on all your vids, they have been most helpful. Thank you
A tea spoon of cocoa is about 4gr and has more than 2g carbs
It’s a small enough amount that you’ll be alright if the rest of your diet is on point
Which of those products can I add if I’m fasting
I will be adding it more often
how much did you add to how much coffee?
1/4tsp
thank you so much for your knowledge and guidance. I've been doing keto for about 2 months now and I'm still learning more and more from you. you've helped to change my life for the better. thanks so much, Tom!
I add heavy whipping cream.
But won't that break your fast?
@@Peter-ri9ie It would, but so would a lot of things in this video. Fasting wasn't the subject of this one.
I add all of these in my Fat coffee in the morning it’s the most delicious coffee in the world!
Also masage can help you reduce acidic whithin muscule
I love my massages
Hey. What type -1,2 or 3 of collegian do you recommend for morning coffee?
It doesnt actually matter. The body will change it into the collagen that it is needing.
Thomas, would you please make a video or include this question in the Q&A: Is soluble corn fiber in Keto/ Low-carb chocolate affect you blood sugar and kick you out of keto. Also, it would be awesome if you created video with keto chocolate ranking. Thank you!
lol...I bought some ghee and now will be able to apply it....did not know the exactly best way to use it. Gee now I knowGhee
I just ordered your Thrive box for the coffee. I normally drink my coffee black, with nothing in it at all. This should be interesting!
Experiment a little and find your perfect combos
I love to add coconut oil to my coffee. 🥥 ☕️
