Yes sir, 3 of my loads were canceled back to back when I'm lining up to check in to pick up the load. Stuck here for 4 days and loads does not make sense and there is nothing you can pick up after loads cancel on you.
Rates have been down for 24 years , that's when I sold out . Back in 1996 I hauled produce , from the fields, at 2.35 per mile , fuel was 60 cent , you could make a living , way to over regulated, EVERYBODY wants their cut.
Yep. Rates will never come back these big carriers don’t want the rates to come up because they are trying to suffocate the small carriers out of business. So they do it so cheap nobody can survive
I was at orientation last week in Charlotte. It was explained this way to us that Choice , AIR and the outside carrier board Freight Power are all going to be combined. The Freight Power board would mean a lot more options to get out of areas with loads posting less than 24 hours before pick up. There are 35 drivers on it at the minute and the feed back is they are liking it and have cut down deadhead miles.
Those two load boards are not the load boards that are getting merged they're emerging the all-in board with the third power only board. And they have party fewer loads than they used to have on top of them not paying well. So I think most of them are going to company drivers because of course they have to take care of company first.
I left SNI and I’m making $5500 week and I’m running OTR. It can be done in this market, just gotta find what works for you. At SNI I was barely clearing $1000/week lol and never got home. SNI is not a great company period and aren’t wanting to lose drivers so they are stringing them along pushing back this new load board lol 😂 run before you bankrupt yourself. Just my 2 cents! hello there, you sound like a nice man,,i started with schneider it's a good company, i started back in 2002 working in the oil field in texas with schneider, my friend we need regulations the brokers are to greedy and truckers are to stupid, the problem is fixing the truck is expensive and we are not making good money to cover the experience, things will get better, brokers make 200 billion every year, it's not the poor immigrant it's the greedy american, it's going to get better bcs allot of small business will go out of business and the scum bags of the earth freight brokers will have to start paying better rates

Yup, I’m not paying more than $3.00/gallon on fuel now compared to when I was at SNI, they are paying Penny’s to drivers to help keep their debts from crumbling the company.

You're in a free market economy with rates determined by supply and demand. Instead of blaming foreigners, figure out how to make money. Perhaps, a trucker's union would help?

I do some door dash and my car gets 60 mpg and I effectively get $1 mile on all delivery miles and home daily. Why are you in that truck? If you live within an hour or two of a big city you can literally work as much as you want to. People are always hungry. College campuses are a gold mine also 👍

I got laid off, companies are paying way low 0.55

.25-.50 cents is all you will get with SNI. It’s horrible. Now where im at I have yet to pay over 3.00/gallon for diesel.
