    this is quite literally why my parents never took me and my brother until we hit eight years old - "You have to be old enough to appreciate it, walk on your own and be sensible enough I can reason with you" she said XD she was absolutely on point. It sounds like hell bringing a toddler there. We had an awesome time.

      I have 2 girls 18 months apart and we waited till my youngest was 10 for that very reason. It was much more fun that they could do all the walking and appreciate the trip more. It was a long wait but totally worth it. They've been going to Disneyland since they were born so it was a great trip.

      When the sky liner is running, the breeze is nice. It’s not that hot (was there in august). The problem is when there is a problem and they have to stop, it becomes hot really quickly.

    Central Floridian here, in regards to activities outside of Disney like the beaches, don’t forget to research! We have tons of other things to do, like lots of natural springs, wildlife reserves, historic sites and so much more.

    Speaking as someone that almost exclusively stays at Pop Centry Resort and did so as well on their last trip, Disney says that the buses to Epcot and Hollywood Studios are still available but just run way less…. They aren’t. Unless the weather is INSANE they do not run the buses and only exclusively use the Skyliner. Maybe it’s lightning that finally closes it but during our trip we were advise the buses would not run unless the Skyliner was shut down, the one night it was pouring rain and windy and we felt like it was the end riding that thing in that kind of weather especially when it stopped over the road… the next time there was bad weather that trip it was like a tsunami. Flooded in Epcot wind even worse but the Skyliner was somehow still open. My family REFUSED to ride it in those conditions, we then played jump around with the monorail as we tried to get back to the resort by getting to magic kingdom…. I get it’s a money saving thing but like ffs I don’t care if it’s once an hour they should have the buses run to and from Skyliner resorts, make us make multiple stops we do from the airport anyway we are used to it!!

    • @jadebraendle5600
      @jadebraendle5600 9 місяців тому +2

      Yep! We stayed this past March and my kids were a bit afraid to ride the skyliner. They had signs at both the Epcot and Hollywood Studios bus stops saying to use the skyliner only

    • @joannelesperance150
      @joannelesperance150 9 місяців тому +2

      I find these comments about no buses to hs and Epcot interesting because I chatted with a cm last month explaining that my daughter is autistic and we always stay at pop century but she refuses to take the skyliner. She told me that there was bus service to HS from pop century but that we would have to go to AA to catch the bus to Epcot. Was she flat out lying?

    • @MickeyMouse14228
      @MickeyMouse14228 9 місяців тому

      @@joannelesperance150 I mean I’m speaking on trips from November 2021 and November 2022 so maybe it has changed? But also they may be able to call for accommodations such as that
      We asked multiple cms and always had the same answer. I feel the change also came with the increase in use of 3rd party charter buses over the usual Disney buses we assumed because of the massive layoffs that happened. Really hope to see that go back to normal as well

    If you have a low immunity make sure to avoid holiday peak travel dates. I was there over Christmas and got sick with what I believe to be RSV. So many people coughing and sneezing without covering their mouth. I have a good immune system, but was unfortunate to have caught COVID from the college students at work only a month prior to my trop and my immune system was still low.

    I totally agree with what you said about just doing Magic Kingdom if you're feeling overwhelmed. We just got back from our Disney trip which was only a 2 park day ticket. Our initial plan was to do MK and HS. Then everyone said HS doesn't have much for a 6 year old other than Toy Story land. So we switched one day to Epcot for the Princesses. Needless to say after day 1 at MK... we felt like we didn't really get a chance to do and see everything. I made the executive decision to do 2 MK days instead. BEST DECISION I MADE!! ❤No regrets!! The second day was magical. Next time, we'll visit the other parks we missed this time. No biggie!!

    I’m so glad I found this channel. I unfortunately won’t be returning to WDW again with all of the info. I loved it. The restrictions placed on entering/exiting for no reason as the health need is no longer there (the cast member issue is on the employer not the customer), the fact that only Deluxe patrons are deemed acceptable to stay late (everyone scrimps and sacrifices to visit the Parks) and numerous other points - I haven’t visited Universal ever - WDW for me was truly the best. I’m sad, but all things change. I’ll keep my great memories and try Universal for the distance I must travel. Thank you for all of the great information. 😊

    One thing I was not prepared for in Disney World is to do with my Bariatric surgery. I have an ADA card that says I had bariatric surgery, and that I can only eat as much as a child (toddler really). In family style restaurants they did not charge me as a kid, and brought out enough for 4 very big people (I was traveling with my husband and 2 teen daughters - who don't eat much either). They said it goes by age, not amount of food eaten. Then they didn't have boxes or bags for us to take the food home (and there was so much of it). What a waste! Luckily, we had gone to breakfast earlier, and we were able to combine our boxes, so we could take most of our food in the second box. Otherwise there would have been such a waste of all that food! Just a warning for my other Bariatric surgery friends out there.

    I think we are only doing one park between the new baby (5 mos) and my husband just getting out of grad school the month before. We plan on going to Hollywood Studios with our baby next year. He'll be too young to even really enjoy the rides and we plan on taking advantage of air condition shows and rider switch. When he's a bit older we'll come back for another park. If you have a baby that's mobile and actually going to enjoy the park, Magic Kingdom is the best for that. They have so many rides without height requirements. I'd rank them for under 3 Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom (mostly bc of animals), Epcot, and Hollywood Studios (only has 2 rides without height requirements). Anyone can chime in if they disagree or have any suggestions.
