I appreciate that you always frame your videos in a way that doesn’t assume everyone who goes to Disney World has unlimited funds. It is possible for people with smaller budgets to go to Disney World and have a good time. It just takes more planning! And your videos really help with that.
To quote a wise cartoon character: "Shut up and take my money!"
Thank you AJ! Our trip is only 25 days away and we can't wait to eat everything!😋
I definitely think Gideons cookies are worth it! had enough to bring home with me last trip!
My only deep, deep regret is that they couldn't do a cookie monster tie-in. Sadly, the Sesame Street Muppets are separate and not owned by Disney.
Locals should head to Gideon's in East End. Minus a couple of their Disney specific offerings, the OG Gideon's location has far less lines and just as great cookies :) Bonus is you can go to Domu next door and get one of the best bowls of Ramen in Orlando before you eat a blessed Gideon's cookie!
Thank you for your always very detailed and helpful hints. One remark from my side: Disney never was really known for fairly priced food and beverages. When Disneyland in Paris/France (then Euro Disney) opened and I had a chance to visit them in 1992, I was shocked at the very high prices for some really poor food offerings. Since Disney Parks are intended for wealhier people only, these customers might not bother. The latest rumor has it that Disney is now trying to cut expenditures by - guess what - reducing food portion sizes. Duh!
Actually one disney executive Actually said that.
Disney Food Blog is the highlight of my day. ❤️❤️❤️
The Tiffins bread service is delicious and absolutely worth it. Plenty for 3 people to share!
Which ones are going to be cover by the Disney Dining Plan (snacks)?
Right?!? That’s what I came to ask, if these are snacks in DDP
Great details about substantial snacks! The empanadas with the corn appeal to me, plus the waffle-Nutella -fruit waffle!
The Nutella fruit waffle is my go-to when waiting for the fireworks. It’s excellent!!
The only thing that could have made this better is you should have mentioned which of these snacks are snack credit eligible, since they return around Jan 8th or 9th of 2024
i love Disney and i have been there 4 times so i have had my fair share of snacks, but these snacks look so good!
This video is so helpful, I could follow this for what to eat in the parks and be very happy
I love all your videos! Can you do a video for people with diabetes food guide? I'm going to Disney World soon and don't know any dish that is diabetes friendly at all.
Why don't you do your own research? Lots of folks take care of these problems.
@@kathleenardrey5094 I’m doing my own research too, but it never hurts or rude to ask for extra help
Extremely rude. Pre diabetic here and I would appreciate a low carb review and also have done research
There is often a green checkmark next to healthier food options on both physical & digital menus. You can also make special dietary requests when booking your dining reservations.
This was so helpful, highlighted pretty much all the things I wanted to try , where and when to get them ! Thanks DFB. been following this channel for 5+ years planning my Disney trip in just 10 days!❤
hope you had fun
I want to try a Ronto wrap. Dole whips are my favorite snacks in WDW.
I had pastrami spring rolls at the cart by Adventureland once.
Ok, why am I watching this close to lunch time? I'm only teasing myself.
The s’more from the Ganachery! Delicious!
Lol 20:40 "those are pickles"
Ghirardelli's in Disney Springs has really good milk shakes, but their service is terrible! At two different times we experienced awful service. The 1st time they gave our order to someone else and the 2nd they never made it. Both times it was shortly after opening and there were less than 5 customers waiting.
I loooove the Lapu Lapu!
I am so excited for Sleepy Hollow chicken sandwich!!
I’m excited for this one! Fun topic!
Can't wait for my trip in January!!
Can you do a video with which snacks are on the DDP, and also tell us how to know what is a snack at the different places, so we can plan before we go haha
planning to get the crouque de glasse
Tomorrow: "Disney World's Most Expensive Snacks That You Should Just Forget About"
(just couldn't resist!)
"Galactic Glowing Glue" Yum!!😝
Pleas pleas pleas do a video on the best allergy friendly foods at Disney world.
5:15 Since Disney World is in Florida they have access to Borden brand Chocolate milk SOOOOOO, I think it’d be a GREAT idea to have those pipets filled with that as a kid friendly option cuz it probably be pretty good (imo).
17:43 I think it’d be way more successful if they had grilled chicken (chopped up) with some shredded romain and some tzatziki sauce on top. I’d literally go there every time I went to Hollywood Studios but instead they’ve got an ok, way too long hot dog, some cabbage that’s either normal or rock hard, AND some empty space to top it all off. Sorry if that sounds mean but that’s how I feel about the ronto roaster but if you enjoy it I’m glad that there’s one more think in the park for you to enjoy.
We would probably never spend $22 on a snack like pretzel but my wife and I always share Sunday at Gary delis
My husband, who doesnt like ribs or pork in general, ordered the morimoto baby ribs when the waiter recommended them. He still thinks of those ribs to this day.
The Space Hot Dog comment cracked me up 😂
That mac & cheese tater tot concoction made my stomach bubble just by looking at it.
Hi AJ!! 🥰💜
I’m also a Sea World Passholder and none of foods for the festivals is less than 12.99. We can get some discounts but it ends up a little more expensive than Disney.
I think the ronto wraps both the normal one and breakfast one are massively over rated. Maybe its because i'm english and get kebab served in a pita most weekends but the novelty of a fairly good quality sausage in an average pita bread plus some toppings is lost on me. I think the breakfast ones get a mention because hollywood studios is the WORST park for breakfast options by far.
Question!!
How early are you allowed to park at the hotel you have reservations for dinner at? If I have reservations at steakhouse 71 at 7 pm am I allowed to park at say 3 and explore the contemporary?
Definitely not. There’s a 3 hour time limit once you park and they’ll note your license plate once you show them your reservation on the app (and they’ll check to make sure it isn’t a screenshot) but you could probably park an hour prior to your dining reservation.
Could I request a video about the places you can eat outside or in ventilated private rooms for the covid-conscious and compromised? I’ll be going this winter and have no idea whether I’ll be able to eat all day or not. 😅
Those empanadas look DELISH!!!
Who has happy hour from 12 pm to 3 pm??? I like to sit at the bar at Jock Lindsey's.
A word of warning about Gideons Bakehouse: If you bake a lot yourself, it might not be worth it for you. We were very disappointed. We did not buy any cookies because we really wanted cake. It was good cake, don't get me wrong, but nothing we couldn't have made ourselves for a LOT cheaper and without standing outside for 30 minutes in already 100 heat at 10:30am. And while the slices were huge, the majority of it is frosting, which was way out of proportion with the actual cake and was not worth the massive price tag attached to it for us. If you LOVE a lot of frosting, then you'll probably like it. Just maybe make sure it sounds good to you and it's not just the hype that you are reacting to. Most of the people I actually know who have gone there have said they ended up being a bit disappointed, not because it wasn't good, but because it wasn't any better than baked goods they could get back home or make themselves, but it was a LOT more expensive AND they had to stand in a long line to get it.
please tell us if an item is or can be made cruelty free
Air cargo pretzel with sesame seeds forget it, that would cost me in pain, soft pretzel with salt and mustard would be enough. But at least I know what to avoid 🙄
You could go to India, experience a different culture and enjoy their bread for way less than a holiday to Disney these days.
