Bruh i been watching ur videos since before i backcombed my own dreads. They are lookin nice so far an imma start blunting my tips and maintaining them with the crochet method. But jus wanted to personally thank you for the knowledge ive gained feom your videos wich have helped me in more ways than i can count in my loc journey. I really went into it feeling comfortable wich was extremly helpful and uplifting for me, i believed i could do it all myself with the knowledge i gained from u and im happy with my dreads and cant wait to get into the crochet method an clean them up some more. Keep doin what u doin bruh. Stay blessed.

i use flaxseed (i make and have it available for purchase) because its natural and has good hold and is healthy for my hair. theresilientlotus.bigcartel.com also, i use clips most of the time to help keep it in place until its dry (air dry or hooded dryer) that's just what i do tho. hope it help!

stArted my locks about a month and a half ago.. it definitely tAkes patience..i do notice the re-twisting process gets easier each time and holds better each time.. I have very curly hair, especially when wet, so I have to retwist often.Anyway I enjoy your vids and use them as a kind of motivAtion to stay pAtient with the process..keep up the good work

I'm 2 yrs in I'm resisting my own now, when I first got my dreads my neighbor told me she knew how to do it and that she was a loctician just not certified so I took her word for it and when I had the money to do it she told me to buy some products and she told me to buy this product that kind of stuck out to me protein hair gel the stuff that comes in the black little container so I get to her house and she starts twisting my hair up and stuff and it already doesn't feel right I mean I really don't know how getting your hair dreaded was supposed to feel but to me it didn't feel right but after she was done I went to sleep and woke up and my hair was really dried up and it stayed it was just crusty and when I went outside it melted I was pretty pissed off so I just went home took it down and washed it but it stayed so I took them apart and made like a thousand skinny dreads and ever since then I've been maintaining my own locs I really don't pay them attention until it's time to retwist to keep from twisting because I used to have a bad habit of playing in my hair

Hey Gunther Da Great idk if you care or already know but I've been watching this woman on UA-cam called yannie the locologist and she strongly suggests to not use a comb when retwisting your dreads because you're popping out you new growth, which over time can lead to hair loss. You can check it out for yourself and see.
