@Zeke Silva I found by shopping around, you can delete and tune for less than $1700. I'm done with mine, now my dad and step-bro want to do the same. Really wakes up this little 5.0
I’m friends with the Cummins rep here in Columbus Indiana, Cummins built that motor for a wide range of applications, this v-8 architecture is just quiet by nature and Nissan was sold on how smooth it was
Only thing about them is limited parts and such. But great trucks in terms of looks and price and such. I love them too. Will be my next vehicle purchase
Wish Nissan would have kept on making XDs with that Cummings. Why they couldn’t make it work is beyond me. That whistle sound is sexy as hell. I own a Titan gasser but this is sick.
They could make it work. What hurt the 5.0 was people buying it to do things they needed a 3/4 or 1 ton truck to do, or loading hot tunes and snapping cranks. That and.. Emissions problems. Alot of emissions problems.
Nissan did a good job with the engine and transmission choice. The Aisin transmission in it is a sister transmission to the one dodge put in their 3500 chasis cabs.
Ese filtro de partículas y la EGR, son el dolor de cabeza de cualquier motor diésel. Suficiente con la adicion del sistema de urea, usado en Europa para reducir los óxidos de nitrógeno y un silenciador bien diseñado
If you take a close look at design language between the ISV5.0 and the VH45DE, you'll see a number of similarities. I agree with you, I believe Nissan had their hand in this design. Intake manifold design, Siamese ports, all things the VH45 has.
My 5in kit I bought is a 4in to a 5in. I like the sound it makes more. Little deeper and more turbo sound. I’m not sure if you can do a bigger downpipe. No room to work with
Great video. I looking at buying a 2016 cummins Titan. It already has 4" exhaust and Ez Tune. what kind of MPG are you getting know? do you do any towing?
I know you had it tuned with the stock exhaust on it how much better did it make the truck feel with a new exhaust on it? How easily does it break the tie is free now?
Could you tell me which exhaust you installed please? I found the pipe you used from def delete shop but is that all you used in this video or is there another exhaust that you bolted up to this pipe?
I have a 17 XD with 84,000. Bought it at 73,000. No issues so far but I do a ton of highway driving and I don't baby it. I cannot wait until the warranty ends to get the emissions shit off of it. Love the truck so far though.
Did you notice any changes in the way it shifts after the tune and delete? Mine shifts like trash. Not sure if trans is going but it seems confused on what gear to be in.
I'm trying to get rid of the awful hesitation my '18 has, where you try to get moving and it just sits there for a few seconds, then slams into first and shits itself moving again. I've heard a tune will do this for me, and I'm preparing to but....what's your impression so far?
It's definitely still there but it's fixed by a substantial margin when I'm on tune 1 it's almost the same but tune 3, 4 or 5 it's probably 80% better, I'm definitely happy with the change
@@kbridges5.0 Awesome thanks! I notice my trans never comes up to proper temp too, so I'm going to do the thermostat mod, but I've been hearing great things once tuned. Appreciate the info!
Somehow I got a feeling just deleting some items and maybe an intake won't end the transmission. At least not if you don't do a lot of hard launches. But you gotta get some air flow under the hood. Squirrels are going to take it anyway. Those rascals.
😂😂 Your dad’s face that looks says “I’m not so sure about this” how is the straight pipe is it annoying is it too loud? I have a 5.9 dodge I put a straight pipe on it for about 20 minutes that thing was way too loud for my liking. I have the 5.0 titan now my son who is 15 wants to straight pipe it, if it sounds anything like my dodge does no way.
I just bought a 2018 XD with 19k miles with the 5.0 and I'm itchin to tune and delete!! Thanks for posting bud, I'll be following this build.
Thanks man
@@kbridges5.0 Where did you get the straight pipe, EZ Link and tune?

Sweet build man! I’m itching to do mine as well.. I tow horses and could use the power bump. But even stock she pulls great! 2016 Pro-4X
"neighbors gunna luv dat" Classic!
love it. currently in the market for a full size diesel truck and im liking these diesel Titans that are often over looked

The 2020 redesign , 9 speed trans and Cummins would be amazing.
All about the emmisions problems. My def pump went out at 69k

Dodge arent known for having very good transmissions 🤣

So happy I found your channel!
Hello friend, I would like one for my truck but I would need if you can tell me where you bought it and how much it cost you.

i added a cool air intake to mine, WHAT AN AMAZING ADD! Then a power commander.
I want to delete mine so bad. Love my Titan XD.
This is a great video series, thanks for doing this. No check engine lights?
No check engine light, not even once and thank you for watching I really do appreciate it
What tuner and tune are you running? Thanks!

Where can i Buy this Exhaust piping?
I hope here in canada someone comes up with a delete even for my duramax 3.0 LM2
Love the sound of it now! A mpg review would be great now that it is deleted.
Mine went from 14 stock to 19 deleted running on tune 5
I want some honest opinions on the xd. Are they worth the money. I have a powerstroke now but big part of me wants one of these and build it.
Ur literally the neighbor I always wish I had
And when you removed all the pipe below, it didn't turn on any light on the board.
When you took off the converter did you get any type of engine light?
Did any of the cables you took off from the stock exhausted came out in the dashboard and also what is the name of the new exhaust you put on
I know you had it tuned with the stock exhaust on it how much better did it make the truck feel with a new exhaust on it? How easily does it break the tie is free now?
Hi, I'm wanting to do this to mine. I'm worried about engine lights coming on, have you had any dash lights come on?
Could you tell me which exhaust you installed please? I found the pipe you used from def delete shop but is that all you used in this video or is there another exhaust that you bolted up to this pipe?
I maybe pulling the trigger on a 2017 xd with 40k on it but I’ve only heard so many issues with there def and egr system.

Just a muffler delete??
Your diesel came with a catalytic converter? Strange.
This is the easy part. The more difficult part is what you do with EGR and its cooling.
There is a company, CFT, that makes them. Used to be about $750 now it looks like about $1500
What delete and tune kit you need for this truck
where did you buy the parts to do your Titan delete

Subscribing to see this build. Just bought a 16 Titan diesel
Any update on the truck?
Where did you get the exhaust
Be careful with the GDP tunes.. heard they are on the dirtier side with a lot of smoke and fuel. I went with CTT instead
Does CTT still offer tunes for the XD Cummins? They don’t list support on their website.
Can someone help me. I want to do this very thing I just need some guidance. Thanks in advance. I have a couple questions. I have a 2017 Titan XD.
Do you have to have the tuner to delete it?

what is the name of the set of pieces
Where can u go to get the delete
Does anyone have a link to where I can find this specific exhaust?
