Bro thank you 🙏🏽 great great informative
Very cool.
Sounds good man I have 2017 platinum XD just broke 100k miles
You should check out my other video I made some custom stacks for it...sound great!
I owned mine 1 Month and the Coolant Tank went. 84.xxx Miles and the Replacement was around 240ish Bucks for the Whole thing.
Yeah I think I will be doing the same very soon
We just bought a 2019 in March. In April, we were going through the mountains in WV heading to Ohio and limp mode kicked in. When we got the trailer setup I went to an O'Reilly, I forgot my reader, to get the code. The local dealer was able to get it to clear. And said the coolant tank was backorder. When we got back home, I called the dealer and got told the last one took a year to come in. I was able to find a national warehouse and got told Nissan was in negotiations with the manufacturer and had no idea when they would be available. If you find a source for new, please post it!
I just went with the 5.6L V8 Gas.... 100HP more & far less problematic 🤷♂
also make sure to check your injector harnesses regularly
For the crank issue?
Great video, thanks for the info. What are the odds, I just realized at 5:00 that vintage st is in the background. I'm from metairie and live in Slidell. I have a 2019 titan xd sv with 44k miles, I've been thinking about the ezlink but I still have a warranty on my truck and not sure if I want to change anything yet.
I actually have a place in Slidell as well here for summer...if I can help let me know
tuning is very crucial in these 5 liter cummins im doin one that has a cracked piston customer also did the egr and def delete but now he needs a whole new set of injectors due to carbon deposits head gaskets piston piston rings ex not to happy with his decision anymore lol also milage was at same as yours might want to trade in that junk
This has been by far the best truck I've owned has brought me and my family across the country in every direction pulling my 5th wheel and at the moment still running like new. This truck attracted alot of first time diesel owners who don't realize the significance of maintenance on a diesel leaving their truck in the hands of unqualified mechanics.
After all the mods and stuff do you have any active lights on your dashboard? If not, how did you bypass?
Your tune corrects this
What size tires are on your truck? Any lift or level as well?
285/60/r20
Nice looking titan, whats the tongue weight on the fifth wheel you pull?
Thanks....pin weight is 1,359lbs
Have to take and get tpms sensors reset after mew tires?
I did not like the factory pro 4x wheels so I bought these from someone else with the midnight package but sensors were not included ...next set of tires I will add sensors. I got used to it by now but the first year I thought about cutting the wheel and ending it all over that damn tire light.... 🤣
Good evening Tool-N Around, by chance do you still have the size for the Orings at the lift pump? I’m still running a stock 2016 that I bought new. Thanks for sharing and helping out fellow XD owners.
Hello I do have those ..I will send you the list needed to change all and location in a few
@@Toolnaround thank you.
@@Mike2500able I have 3 pics that show the receipt of o rings which include sizes and company to purchase from ...how can I get these to u?
It's definitely a truck I'm looking into. I had a 17 titan then got rid of it after we bought our house. For the price for diesels this is a solid deal. How's the power on it. I've have ford's since that 17 titan and I regret getting rid of it. Great video brother!
Great power and comfort a perfect balance between a 3/4 and 1/2 ton
I want to know what your fuel mileage has gone up to. I have a 16 xd platinum reserve 4x4 with 55,600, and have been tired of losing mileage do to regen. I love my truck, i picked it up late 18 with 18,100 on it, but am really getting tired of losing an 1/8 of a tank plus of fuel everytime she regens.
16.5 -17 mpg city around 19-20 highway
We just bought another 2016 (2017) Nissan titan XD Platinum Reserve with 47,000 miles. What exactly do we need to do to keep ours running smooth like yours?
I have a 2019 with 44k(my first diesel)change your filters at 10k miles, change oil around 7k miles. I found online apparently the trucks come from the factory with valvoline premium blue so I just started using that. I drive at least 50 miles a day round trip commuting to work and never let the fuel get too low nor the def and everything runs so smooth. I also installed an auxiliary tank for longer range
@@WilliamL1988 how much did the auxiliary tank cost you and how many gallons?
What are you sources for all the mods you did. I have that exact same truck.
My local shop no longer offers off-road tunes but if you search online everything needed can be found
We dont have emissions for these trucks where I am in ny but no way am I messing with federal emissions.
Those are some long trips from Louisiana. What part of the state are you in?
North of lake Pontchartrain
After egr delete does it makes roll coal
It can if you want...I have mild tow tune
Where did you get that bug shield?
I'm pretty sure I bought it from Nissan parts
I really like the size of the XD but would probably get a gas engine if I bought one
They have the gas XD
you need to get S&B air intake, better gas miles.
I sure do ...that will be my next mod
When I move out of this shit state Kalifornia, I’m going to get a modern diesel and remove all the emissions crap.
