Did it solve your issues? Getting ready to do the EGR delete myself. Already done the DPF delete tune that also already turns off the EGR but would appreciate your input
I'm about to do the same thing on my Titan, your video is very helpful. I have a few questions though. 1, Looks like on the new charge pipe there is no place for the diesel filter housing bolt to attach. I'm afraid this will cause excess vibration and something might brake... What's your take on this? 2, Also, the new charge pipe doesn't have place for the wire harness plugs. Looks like you re-routed the harness on the bottom. I assume you've been running like that for a while. Any isues with that? 3, Do you know why can't we just block off the exhaust at the manifold? Why do we have to change the up pipe and then block it off?? Seems to me that is just an extra step, but there must be reason for it I guess. Anyone can explain? Thanks!!
Stock up pipe has a Y on it for recirculation if I remember correctly. Can’t just block it off. Need the up pipe and the block plate. Also, just route the harness in a safe place, maybe zip tie it. I had a mount on my stuff for the filter housing too. Not sure what’s up with your kit.
Did you not have the mounting bolts under the black mount the egr sits on? Ones that just have a nut and are not removable? I can’t slide my egr off like you did just by tilting it. Can’t slide it either because if the fuel lines it’s driving me crazy too…🥵
@@zukefofittyshow2807 what are the differences you noticed on it ? Or have any updated videos ? I ask because I have mine deleted and tuned only ,still have EGR installed .

Biggest issue is that they are not produced anymore and parts are always back ordered. I have a 17 and absolutely love it but I see that I’ll have to be figuring out more of how to fix or do things on my own since Nissan is almost no help. Also there is a shop on Facebook that rebuilds these engines that has seemed to identified the vast number of the possible bad cranks.
Get some extensions and give yourself some leverage. Whatever you do don’t strip the bolts. Use a 6 point socket so it doesn’t slip. Hit it with wd40. Last resort would be start the truck and get them warm if you can. Good luck!
Do you have to retune if your already tuned with egr delete off? I bought a tune that had a trial on it and now I can’t go back and switch tunes or retune .
I recommend you read the actual law. There is language in there that you rarely ever hear about. Each vehicle/engine/emission system has an expected useful life. After that point, which the govt has increased over the years, the vehicle is no longer regulated by the law. Unless you actually read the law (Code of Federal Regulations), all you're going to get is hear-say and second-hand BS from people who think they are lawyers. Read the regs for yourself and make up your own mind.
@@NAVY_NFOYou’re wrong! Even if you were right, Titan isn’t around long enough to fall under what you’re stating, regardless, it’s federally illegal to tamper with or remove federal emissions equipment.
Finally an instructional video on how to do this lol. Thanks!
I have an 18 that I did this to and I love the way the truck drives now. I also went through Bradley Shumate. He is definitely a top-notch guy.
It’s all good until the EPA gets ahold of him like they did with everyone else… I wouldn’t use his name on here
It's for off road/farm usage.@@RJ-bo1cp
Just did the dpf delete. I may tackle this tomorrow. Thank you for this.
This helped me get mine done..! Thanks for the video.
Do you still have this truck

Did you changed the gaskets on the little pipe
Working on this truck 100 degree weather and having a hell of a time it's kicking my ass I hate this truck I hope this solves all the problems

Can you post link where did you buy the delete kit ?
What state do you live and how can you go about finding a place that will pass your truck from smog testing?
What egr delete did you use? And do you notice a difference? Milage

great video, but clean up those battery terminals & battery mount brackets too

Have you noticed your truck being more reliable since this

Did your up pipe fit perfectly or did you have to use a good bit of force to make it fit. I'm having problems getting mine to line up

I bet these parts aren't on back order like my coolant reservoir sensor that basically makes my truck worthless
unplug the sensor on the reservoir. youll still have a cel but at least it wont go into shutdown.

Retune anytime you change something on the truck or if you get a check light. Sometimes that will remedy the issue.
Also the only tune you should trust is a tune from Bradley Schumate.
Do you not trust the EZlynk tunes??
What the link to that kit
There is no link. Contact Bradley Schumate or Synthetic Off Road on Facebook
