I used to make this bread about 25 years ago when I was on Atkins. I would add cinnamon and Splenda to make. If you also add a tablespoon of flour your choice almond whatever, you will get air holes in it like regular bread

If you turn your pan upside down and mold your parchment paper on the OUTSIDE, it makes it easier to then put it on the INSIDE of the pan
Brilliant tip, Pam! Thank you! Another tip was to scrunch up the paper and then flatten it out before lining the tin. That way the paper stays in place. I prefer your tip tho. I love keeping the paper 'new'. G Ire
And if you crumple up the parchment paper before doing that it's even easier. I crumple my paper before using it irregardless. Lays out better and easier to maneuver.

Ok so I took 4 egg whites two pieces of cream of Tatar n 8 oz of cottage cheese. Did everything same as she did but I left it in the over for about 50 minutes n it looks beautiful. I wish I could share the pic.

Hi. I did not see her ingredients saying to add cream of tarter? I tried making it, but the egg white powder mixed with water did not fluff at all. 😒 Did I need to add cream of tarter? Please help.
It takes at least 5 minutes or so when you are fluffing egg whites. Also make sure there is no fat.
Did you use 4 raw whites or powder?

I have made a similar recipe with liquid egg whites and cream cheese. I made buns. Very tasty and satisfying. I have to say though, Myra's looks amazing.

You don’t know what you are missing! Butter your bread, sprinkle on cinnamon and then instead of sugar sprinkle on some Granulated Monk Fruit and toast.

My aunt used to make a cottage cheese bread with dill and dried onion flakes, also salt. I bet this bread would taste very similar. Going to dry it. Also tradition PSB is so dry. The cottage cheese would really help.

I wonder if you could turn this into a keto friendly angel food cake with some sweetener.
In my experience and in my opinion, there's no need for keto sweet treats. Keto really isn't meant for most people to live in.
Use it to repair your insulin and at the same time lose weight.
Then you can stop doing keto and as long as you're not ridiculous with your diet, you should never have trouble again.
I did keto and lost 90 lb and haven't done keto for 7 years and have not gained any weight back.
Just like a 16-year-old kid that is drinking a milkshake and eating a bag of Doritos and has washboard stomach, your metabolism does a pretty good job of taking care of things, so long as you have good insulin.
But if you spent years of your life, abusing your insulin, double fisting potato chips and Oreos and bags of Hershey's miniatures while you watch television, you gave yourself insulin resistance. But it took a long time and quite a bit of abuse.
So if you do keto to get your insulin repaired, you can go back to having a real dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy.
Like I said, it wasn't the mashed potatoes that caused your problem. It was double fisting chips in one hand and a family size bag of Hershey's miniatures in one sitting in the other
@@Bozemanjustin don't tell people what diet they should follow. There are multiple reasons people follow a particular diet for me. I follow keto because I want to follow it for the rest of my life and it is my choice of living and I am skinny fit and healthy, but no thank you I don't want to have any portion of potato chips or mashed potatoes but yes, if once in a while, I have a sweet tooth. I will make a sweet version of a keto recipe. It is not about being skinny. It is about health and the intracellular changes that happen when you put junk in the body that are detrimental to longevity and can cause cancer / alzhiemers but you cannot see from outside the effects of it, but it is certainly playing out from inside. If you want to eat a certain way, go for it, but don't advocate others.

Unbelievable - I have to try this one this week . . ! I have some cottage cheese, and maybe I'll use regular egg whites for this . . . . An egg sandwich would work well here, grilled cheese (I said it aloud moments before you mentioned it in the video!), peanut butter (I make my own by blending peanuts in my Nutri Bullet. Even throw a few tablespoons of milled flaxseed in with it, and pumpkin seeds too . . . .) toast . . . oh boy . . . Thanks for another great one, Mayra! I've lost almost as much weight as you did, have about 70 more lbs to go . . . .

I think trying to make French toast with this wouldn’t be good due to soaking it with liquid eggs and milk. Maybe toast it for grilled cheese or other sandwiches? You could maybe toast it in a pan with cinnamon/stevia/butter, and then put sugar free syrup on it to mimic French toast?
Cut out the milk & it wouldn't have hardly any liquid. If you really wanted that component, use heavy cream, since you could use just a dash for flavor without much liquid. Also you could use only egg yolks or cut egg whites in half, since that's the liquidity part of the egg... I definitely think there's some options here though 🤔
Ohhhh also, most people use day old bread for French Toast, so another option would be to cut this, place on cookie sheet, & let dry till you have day old or dry bread to soak up your egg mixture....

mine came out so good. i followed your recipe but added: 2 rounded tblsp's butter powder, 1 rounded tblsp mct powder, sprinkle salt, 1 rounded tblsp inulin, and 1/2 tsp cream of tartar, and 1 rounded tblsp arrow root starch, just bc i had these ingredients. i made it in the Sun Oven. i wasn't expecting it to come out this good. melts in your mouth. didn't brown but i don't care about that. there were no big holes in the bread so i thought it was going to be like styro foam but it wasn't. thanks for the video.

I didn’t have any cottage cheese so I made it with some softened cream cheese and a little bit of heavy whipping cream. It came out really good! I’ll try it with the cottage cheese next time to see if there’s any difference. ❤

@@LowCarbLove II made the chocolate cake using truvia for my sweetener I cut it back a little also I added a tablespoon of heavy cream with a little water As the batter was too thick I baked it air fryer for 12 minutes very moist absolutely delicious I topped it with ChocZero chocolate syrup and a little strawberry syrup thank you for this wonderful recipes
