Great video Dan, as always. We had rats in the house when we moved in - they chewed through cables in the boiler! Found where they were getting in and live caught them (there were quite a few!) and released them in the wheat field next door where they belonged. Got bitten by one as I was releasing it; it bled quite a bit but it healed up within days. (Couldn’t be bothered going to hospital, in spite of much nagging from Mrs!)

Dan, how do u price a job up on an ideal logic when it makes the trumping noise as it can be multiple parts? Venturi,burner,gas valve etc, theres many parts what cause that noise and after you cleaned Venturi, your looking at burner or gas valve, but u can't be sure its that. I know the trick with the burner if it's floppy in left hand side were fan goes then it's faulty, but I've had it firm and it's still the burner, and the burner looks very clean, I hate that fault, am lucky as I have a gv and burner as vstock to eliminate but if you don't then it would be a nightmare
Hi mate, I price it for the worst case scenario… it being both, try the Gv first, if not then the burner. I’ve known of it before being both what’s at fault. Hope that helps mate.
Perhaps setup an amazon associates storefront? I don't think there's any downsides and can get some kickback from sales, something like 3 - 4%. Might pay for a pint or two :)

Haven’t snapped a flow turbine yet (touch wood) but can’t you bash it out from under the mains connection like you can do with the diverter cartridge under the flow connection? Would save buying the whole block but a bit unsure 🤷♂️
