I've said it before (as have others), but it's worth repeating: I love, love, love the diversity in the example photos you use. It's so heartening to be able to come to this channel-with your already lovely presence and aesthetic-and just count on being able to see people of all races, ethnicities, and even ages (which is especially important for women, as older women are still so underrepresented in fashion) in the photos you select. For so long, fashion content has focused on the diversity possible within outfits without being very thoughtful about representing diversity among the wearers of those outfits-but you always do, and it doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you for making such beautiful, intentional content, as always!
I’ve been playing with monochromatic outfits this summer. My job requires me to have my knees and shoulders covered so I usually wear a dress with atshirt over it. I have pink with a red-and-pink striped T-shirt, dark green with a teal shirt, dark red with a different shade of deep red colour… things you could never convince me to try in the past but it’s been really fun and it doesn’t look nearly as crazy as it probably sounds 😅 I’m glad this video validated my outfit choices of the past few months
Thank you for these simple yet effective tips! I´d love to see an updated take of yours on makeup and hair since it really pulls an outfit together! And you do it so well🙂
Lol, when I was first learning about colour I wore an all navy outfit one day and added a colourful scarf around my neck. I was asked by someone if I was an airline stewardess!! LOL!!! Thanks for this video! I'm still learning. :)
This may be only partially applicable, but something I have enjoyed for adding interest is finding a patterned outfit that coordinates with my best colors. So, for example, I recently made my first dress (woot!) and it has a floral print containing subdued rose pink, burgundy, and green, among a few other colors. I can wear it with cardigans and dusters of coordinating colors (matching) OR I can wear something that contrasts them all (accent) ☺️
Committing to a fixed color palette within my wardrobe has really streamlined getting dressed each day and allows me to add new colors intentionally. I love the concept of focusing on emotions when choosing color. Living in a desert, I also tend towards warm browns and earth tones to blend in with my geography. As always, thank you for the wonderful video!
I still love my LV reverse monogram HIDUPZ clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
Dusty pink and blue-grey are classy, underrated neutral that look elegant and expensive. I too am introducing a bit more colour into my neutrals wardrobe, it can start with a skinny scarf or necktie, or a bag charm even. Most of what I wear are solid colours but understated patterns can add variety and originality to a look, so if I find a dress or blouse with a great (but subtle) pattern/design, I buy it. I am most adventurous with scarves though, so versatile. Re: neutrals, I am wearing different neutrals this year, new to me: olive (velvet suit from Mango), sand (suede jacket from Massimo Dutti).
Speaking of color could you make a video on matching different color tights to an outfit? The outfit can be all one color but also can it be two colors??
Hi audrey! My measures are almost the same as yours and i was wondering what size for Doên you usually use because indecision about the size stopped me from buying before.❤
Still the only style influencer I actually follow and I’m a man. Great video, as usual. 🤍❤️🤍 I recently adopted an all-black-outfit for work (shoes any color) and will never look back. My mother has worn all white outfits for decades. Now I know why. Eventually I’ll get there. 😊
Thank you so much for watching! You can sign up for launch updates here www.audreyalamode.com/ xx

I really appreciated the images of the more unusual color combinations. I am very color forward and love getting new ideas.
4:02 I love this tip! It also justifies my habit of buying an item i love in multiple colours
As always stylish and great tips! Thanks dear Audrey!😀💖

Dear Audrey, I don't fall asleep with your videos anymore. You are talking too fast. Please talk slowly again. Thanks 😅

She does have a nice voice though I get it
Adjust the play speed.

Eventually I’ll get there. 😊
Maybe you could add some texture. Two-toned shoes.
