  • Episode 15 - Jake's Long Travel Rebuild on Our Club Car DS - Custom Shocks on our Custom Golf Cart!
Welcome back to Cart Life TV!
In this episode we rebuild our Jake's Long Travel Kit on our Long Distance Club Car DS. We found a ton of wobble and play in the wheels so changed the ball joints and upgraded the shocks! Such a better ride than the Jake's Stock shocks! 100%!

You guys should’ve talked about the difference in spring rate and dampening between the stock setup and the new Predator.

Got a part number for the predator shocks?

All of the videos could be a little more technical. You’re doing great upgrades but not really sharing install details, part selection reasoning and results. The predator shocks look like they come with 10mm bushings, did you have to drill out to 12mm, or 7/16, or swap bushings?? That cart is awesome, what’s next?

Where did you get the shocks? Great job on everything.

Found them on Ebay - We thought they looked like they would work and they did... We had to slightly widen the mounting holes for the 7/16 bolts, but that was pretty easy.

I have a 6 seater Precedent lifted 6 inches. The front suspension feels fine it’s the rear that’s terrible. The shocks pretty much do nothing and it’s rough. Not sure how a nice front suspension would make much of a difference for me

It seems to me that the heim joints were cheap quality to begin with.

Videos aren’t bad but links to products and completion of project would be great in the video, as-in a quick review of new products. The constant background music absolutely has to go, there’s no need for it and it’s a major distraction
