you went crazy on this one. so much flavor from the onions, tomatoes, and spices cooked in the same oil the chicken was fried in, and then the achar adds a whole new dimension. that has to be one of the best sauces ever.
Such a honest & talented chef. Not a lot chefs will be willing to share everything they know nowadays. You cooks with passion and love. Huge respect 👏. Thank you for sharing 🙏
Great recipe chef. For people who do not like to use ready made mixed Pickle/Achar. You can buy "Achar spice" which is essentially all the spices which go in the pickle without the fruit/vegetable. Main ingredients of any Achar spice is Mustard, Fenugreek, Fennel and Onion seeds (cumin and coriander seeds are optional) , so you can also make your own blend (coarsely ground) and add to the dish, which will give you similar taste.
I buy the pre-made mixed pickle from my local Asian store. I would recommend that you chop the pickle a bit and make sure there are no hard bits in it, as there is often hard inedible mango seed shell in there!
Assalamu alaykum My brother Latif, you have taught me how to bhuna. You have taught me how to tarka. You are my friend and brother for life. Thank you for all you have taught me. I hope to teach you something in return down the road. Blessings, Brother Evan
You are an inspiration to all cooks, first class. I am going to cook this chicken for my family. I love your style/approach. I look forward to your next recipe. Excellent.
As someone raised in Bradford but unable to get back for the grub these days, your videos just nudge me into the kitchen for a taste of the old country. Cheers, dude.
It's so nice to hear metal on metal cooking sounds for once! I'm so used to seeing wooden spoons on non-stick; we don't get that industrial catering vibe.
Mate, this looks awesome. I've been cooking one of your recipes every Sunday since October. I've yet to have bad feedback, everyone loves them. I'm on Keto for January, would love to see your take on Saag Paneer - as I'm practicing making side dishes whilst not eating rice/breads etc!
Hi. I was very interested in your comment about Keto. I am diabetic and stay away from rice and bread due to sugar content. I would be interested if you found any low carb recipes. Sorry if I’m being cheeky but I miss Indian food so much.
@@margaretmurphy2265 Hah, well you caught me on a Sunday so I'm currently prepping a meal for tonight! In general the curry side of Indian dishes are high in protein and fat (oil, ghee) but low carb. Onions and tomato are the biggest offenders and they are relatively low. The hardest thing is substituting rice, naan, roti etc. Personally I cook a "fry" of some kind - brinjal, cauliflower, courgette. I also like to make a paneer based dish that uses yoghurt or cream. There's also the option to make cauliflower rice and such, but personally I'm not a fan.
That's a great idea.I was put of keto because of some American recipes I viewed. This food is perfect for keto.I can live without rice or bread.Latifs curry's are perfect for keto. Thank you. What a great idea. And sagg paneer etc
GOD BLESS YOU FOR SHARING YOUR KNOWLEDGE WITH OTHERS YOU ARE ONE OF THE BEST CHEF YOU ARE GOING TO BE A GREAT CHEF ONE DAY ITS COMMING YOUR WAY .THANK YOU YOUR RECEIPYS ARE MOST DELICIOUS. .AMEN
You've really upped your thumbnail game this year. Well done! This one is the best yet, and the production value overall is improving all the time. I hope you consider investing in sound as your channel keeps growing.
Chicken's in luuurve! Never heard of achari. I love that tangy sour taste. Just need to get some achar now. This is also a good recipe for those that haven't made a base gravy yet!
Looking forward to trying this! Love achar as a side, never thought it could go directly in a curry. Bless you for sharing your extensive knowledge! Respect from RSA
What great technique I love "curry" but get a bit fed up with all the base gravy/ pre cooked meat, which I know is needed in your business, home traditional cooking is my passion please keep sharing
Hello Latif, this is definitely on the cards for tomorrow, need to get down to the local Indian store for chicken thighs and HOT lime pickle,my favourite, cheers
I am going to make this Latif it looks delicious can you give us the full name of the pickle please have looked on Amazon and they have loads what curry powder please did you use

That’s looks amazing! Great to see you pumping out the videos... just followed you original base gravy recipe at weekend for a couple of BIR curries and turned out amazing. All the best!
I love your enthusiasm, and I love that you explain WHY you do each step, rather than just what you're doing, I learn a lot from your videos! But a request - do you have a recipe for the mixed pickle that you used?

Another great recipe, thanks mate. I've made a few of your recipes with great results. My kids are still eating a Korma from a jar, they don't like too much spice even though they like the onion bhaji and chicken pakora I have made from your recipes. Please can you show us how to make a BIR style Korma as I have told them it has so much flavour compared to the jar shit they eat. I can't just get one from a takeaway as we moved from London to a little Island in Ireland a few years ago and no takeaways are available, hence why I have been following your fantastic recipes. Thanks again and all the best.

I might be inclined to make this even easier to make by using tinned tomatoes and blend the sauce for the fussier eaters. Lovely.
Mixed pickle is a bit of an acquired taste. I might try it in this recipe.
Awesome Latif again! .... where can I get a karahi like that from? 🙏

Hi! Please please show us how to make a tikka chicken wrap or tikka loaded fries with cheese
Beautiful! Very similar to my Bengali mum's "Jhol Chicken". Never thought to cook with Achar instead of using as a topping. Thanks!
