As a massive Indian foodie, I really appreciate these videos. The production quality has vastly improved over the past few months. Great video! Keep it up!
Most Karahi recipes do not use any onion at all! With onions added it is essential just a version of normal chicken curry. Also Karahi chicken usually has black pepper and mustard is not used. Whatever this guy is cooking, it is NOT a Karahi chicken!
I made this yesterday and WOW. It is incredible. I was really surprised at the quality, it is of the standard that I'd expect if I was paying a restraunt to prepare it! I made some tumeric rice to go with it and found that this paired really well. Thanks Latif!
Let's hear it for the amazing sound recorded on this equally skilled filming. The sound of the cooking process makes me almost taste what is being cooked. Wonderful.
Just had this one and it was really tasty, a different taste. Thank you Latif for another gem. We should all be very grateful to you, I certainly am. 10/10.
I made this for my step son and I for Christmas dinner but changed the chicken for turkey fillet, he’s a bit of a curry fan so no pressure! 😅turned out absolutely amazing, we loved it!! 👍 so simple to make and the depth of flavour …. Wow ! Then we had it again for new years with my partner & daughters who are fussy as they come ! … went down a storm👍🙂 gonna make it again tonight with chicken …. Love the channel, keep the vids coming 😊
Looks wonderful who would have thought the secret ingredient is Colman's English Mustard ! I bet it tastes gorgeous thank you for sharing your expertise! If you don't already, you should have a TV show!! God bless 😊
Moved from Maidenhead, Berkshire 12 years ago to Adelaide, Australia. Really missed the British Indian food which you rarely get here. But I’ve been following these recipes and it’s like being back in England again. Easy to follow and get that great taste in your own kitchen. Absolute legend and keep showing us those recipes. Should have your own tv show 👍👍👍
I just made this tonight, using your gravy recipe. Have to say its the best tasting curry i have ever made, and quite possibly better tasting than any restaurants i have had in the past. Also did your pilau rice to accompany it. Now a subscriber of yours 👍
Love watching these, it’s seriously improved my curries. Hard to commit to cooking with that much oil though - but I have realised the biggest difference in the taste of my curries is the amount of oil I cook with.
Well that turned out bloody lovely. Swapped the chicken with Quorn as we’re vegetarian, but mighty impressed. Few more goes and I’ll be saving £100+ and a couple of hour round trips each month.
Assalamu alaikum..made the base gravy and came out beautiful..🤤made this dish and we had a feast..felt like eating at an Indian restaurant ☺️ Jazaka'ALLAH so much..
This looks absolutely delicious, I have always preferred Lamb when making curries but I need to make this dish, Thankyou Latif and keep the recipes coming.
I`m watching this and my mouth is just watering away here. I tend to just make a base gravy which my wife loves but I`ve got to try this. I add fennel seeds which gives it a nice taste but I`ve tried red peppers or fresh chilles. I`ll try this tomorrow.
Absolutely love this Latif, really easy to follow keep up your brilliant work, I love watching it,it inspires me to get in the kitchen and smash out these curries, good luck with the book Gringo
I've been thinking about adding prepared mustard to my curries because I don't have access to mustard seeds but I didn't know if it would work. I'm relieved to see that it's not only doable but you think it's a game changer😂. I will definitely try it now, thanks!
My usual saturday night latifs curry , but i thought I would check out some other Chicken Karahi recipes...... ERRRR NO it was straight back to Mommy.. unbeatable Latifs every time. 🙃
Fantastic dish In my opinion I think I would have stopped before you added the base gravy. Because it looked amazing at that point. I would have covered it and let it simmer until the chicken was breaking apart. that's just me. Also I definitely want to try the mustard paste instead of mustard seeds or oil. I have a suggestion if you haven't done it already. A lot of vegans are using the jack fruit to make curries and BBQ. Could you do the same please. One as a curry and another as a BBQ dish.
Amazing video to one of my favorite curries I’ll copy your recipe but without the peppers and onions as I get in pakistaní -Indian restaurants here in the USA Happy new year chef , Greetings from Dallas Texas
My wife and I are working our way through your recipes - every single one has been absolutely delicious! Love love love Latif's Inspired, thank you!

Thank you so much 👍
6:40 the lovely golden crust on the chicken is what the French cook call the Maillard reaction, when protein caramelises and is a form of umami.

Some great dishes recently man. Loved the tip with sticking Toms in and discarding the skin to make a nice gravy, all the best.
