I just love the tone of all hog OM/000s. These's something smooth and silky that no other acoustic has and this is a fine example. Pity I can't afford one, but I have my Martin 00015m.
@@mickymillersson4376 i played a ton of collings they are way behind martin...too tite and bright...listen to ther builders huss and dalton for example totally different...
Interested in buying a used all hog Collings from someone and I found your video. Sounds very nice - I hear some reverb but did you add any other processing to this video?
Beautiful guitar. If I was to go all Mahogany it would be a Collings hands down. It still has some of the sparkle that usually is lost in a full Mahongany guitar.
Every all hog I've played (less expensive, you know the brand) has sounded small, boxy and muted. That Collings has now shown me why all-hog guitars are made.

u have a great guitar...I liked this Collings but thought it was a tad lean ...and too bright
@@soofitnsexy yes, I agree about the brightness. Sometimes strings make all the difference.

I have yet to play a Collings vintage now neck. I hoping it will be similar to the neck on a Martin 0M 18 authentic but in a short scale.

What kind of strings are on it? Probably not monel? PB's?

My Harley Benton CLP15 sold wood mahogany sounds as good as this and it only cost £260
