Fr i was playing open queue last night and i rezed one guy like 10 times, dmg boosted and healed everyone and at the end when we lost he said "mercy was kinda ass"😒
You are important but I would say tank is most important cause but then again if you don’t have good support you can’t stay alive but if you don’t have good tanks it’s hard to take point and plus tanks can do the job of the dps while taking point while support can but not as good of a job so I would say they are pretty equal

A lot of times i get silver obj kills as luc and mercy, and mercy isnt very agro. And without bursts tanks would die instantly because of how large their hitbox is. and Ive taken poitn with only dps.
@@noahvilliger9110 as moira you can easily get silver kills or even gold , throwing out your damage orb tickles the enemies , builds your ult and heal and counts as an elim even if you don’t finish it
As a support main, this was reeeeally useful. Hopefully I'll be able to start grinding and climbing again. But also once thing I would add as one of the main rules if a support player is to track ults or to have a general idea of what ults the enemy has and when and communicate that with your team.
Especially if you're playing a support like Lucio or Zenyatta who have defensive ults You really have to keep track of the enemy team's ults so you know when to use yours

If youre good with her she fits into any comp. dive, deathball, pirate ship, double shield. And goats (not now but yeah). Bap on the other hand, requires a team thats more grounded, and not as many flankers. And stationary comps if possible.
I feel like Moira has the best hard carry potential. She can heal for a lot throw orbs to help charge by damaging or healing the entire team and she has ok dog and life leech to defend herself especially with orbs. Plus her fade is so amazing since she can save herself from so many enemy ults and helps her stall the point longer than most other supports except bap with his immortality field
As someone who mainly plays support it seems like whenever you heal someone that gives them the green light to go do some stupid thing like charging head first 1v6 and just get killed 🤦♂️😂

If you play mercy well, you'll be able to carry a team with her current rez and healing. There's really no need to buff her. Ana really balances out because even though she heals the most, she's easily killed and has a high ceiling
Although I agree, I believe using that damage boost would be more rewarding, using the dmg boost always helps my team win more fights while my Moira or Ana heals the team.
you shouldnt be going mercy for her heals, her main pull is the fact that she has damage boost. A mercy's job isn't to heal everyone its to heal and enable the squishy dps

well if you wanna rank up just switch to tank or dps and carry the game, as a support there is nothing more frustrating than giving your 100%, healing sometimes over 25k dmg because no one gives a damn about their positioning or anything and still lose the game because you simply can't carry a team as a support (as in kill the pharah while your dps stick to a mei/reaper kind of shit while not having half your team die while you've been shooting her for the past 10 sec) I love support, it's always been my main role but this season it's just disgusting, went from one game from plat to under 2k in straight line with random shit like pharah farming us with only melee characters not switching to tanks fighting out of the cap point and C9ing the shit out of game to dps not making ONE SINGLE KILL the whole match. at least as a tank you can carry the team to victory granted you get some decent support and do the dps job they're not doing.. so yeah I love support but obviously a gold dps is not equal to a gold support or tank and that works for almost every rank

You touched on a lot of the reasons: THINK based on the situation: map, your team comp, enemy team comp, etc. A few times you said a sentence, and your following sentence was the exact same message with different words, but overall great video!

Just type in "overwatch reddit" in google. Theres like 5 different reddits dedicated to overwatch with tbe latest patches normally pinned to the top. Overwatch university reddit is really good to learn tips (make sure to use the search bar dor your character)
What he forgot to say, dont play solo. Ranking up as support you are at the mercy of random matchmaker that gets fucked up by people paying Activision for new accounts to mess up games.
This didn’t age well. If your team is simply uncoordinated console DPS mains just logging in to play “competitively” once in a while, your team will almost always never win. I carry almost all the time, and I do make mistakes because I’m trying to do too much as a support because my DPS or tanks are lacking and the enemy is punishing my plays. There are such frustrating times when I’m trying to do nothing but just be a heal-bot and put out as much healing as possible but my teammates always either play too passively and don’t do anything until they get some lucky picks from across the choke or just get bursted down from playing too aggressively.
I'm sorry I don't like when someone picks Ana in gold... They never keep up. Especially when the team is all over the place and then when I say I'm struggling playing someone u can put heals easily with they look at me like I'm stupid bitch it is the first round and I'm already at 7k heals people still dropping like flys help me out!!
I can push out 28k healing and still lose😂there is only so much u can do as a support sometimes but I understand being adaptable

Mercy should have the best healing since she’s all heals. Sure, she has res, but Ana’s aim has the reward of a sleep dart AND nade.

She doesn’t need more trust me, she’s the easiest support to win every game with. Takes no skill but rewards a lot of value
