I think the idea behind Sam’s channel is that he does mechanical stuff on a regular guy budget, without all the big workshop stuff to make it more relatable to ordinary drive way car enthusiasts.

@@ryanmacewen511 No just the regular A6 from around 2009 to mid teens; they have an option for the 3.0T engine which is the same.

@@rustler08 , and Sam.. Thanks for the info! I have 3 A6 C6's right now, an 05, 07, and 08. I fell in love with them. Amazing everyday cars that ride smoothly, handle great (cup package) yet can fit 6ft long items in the back. Hopefully budget will allow one of the newer ones soon! lol. I'd love nothing more than to be driving a FAST AWD.

YES! So pumped that you got a 3.0t engine to work on! I have one and absolutely love it. I noticed your shifts in sport mode seemed pretty low in the RPM range, I'm assuming you didn't do the TCU tune yet? Makes a big difference with letting the car rev out further before shifting and increased clutch pressure.
PLEASE BRING A LOT MORE B8 / B8.5 CONTENT!

@@rcplaneguy I’ve had mine for over 2 years, and I haven’t had any problems.
@@rcplaneguy Even if they did have leaks they have safety bars that lock the units in the extended position.
@@rcplaneguy The key process step with connecting/disconnecting the QJ QDs is to make sure the pump is completely de-pressurized by pressing "DOWN". I extruded an o-ring in one of the QDs when I tried to force the QD onto the pump w/o totally releasing the hydraulic pressure. Lesson learned.
More S4!, more C63!, more Gallardo!, MORE FORD RS! Maybe do a road trip in one of them. Or drag race them all see which is the fastest.... more content on those you have already!

Finished yes, done, no... I suggest you look up the meaning of the two words.. No race/project car is ever done, only finished...
Finished means you've completed the current things you're working on but more can be done to it.. Done means100% complete and no matter what no other changes can be made to improve it and that's when it's truly "done" and no more can be done to it....
Awesome series. Own a a7 c7 and am running IE stage 2 no exhaust. Just love that whine! You have me thinking about an armytrix now. 😅
U need to buy the transmission tune as well and a heat exchanger.

@@ingresswizard9044 still has the tiny stock HX though,can see it at 2:20. Going dual pulley these cars generate an unreal amount of excess heat and a larger intercooler is NEEDED for consistent spirited driving.
@@CephBacon yep. Literally stage 2 will be slower then a stage 1 car without proper cooling 😂. It ll pull timing like crazy and soon enough mess up the coolant bricks in the supercharger as well.
Trans tune is not there. You can see it still shifts at 6k rpm and the stock launch at 3k rpm. Missing out on the proper power band, top end.

I agree. If anything these pops and bangs and over loud exhausts actually annoy me now.. waste of money and make the car sound awful.

@Samcrac if you want more of the supercharger whine you can literally cut a hole in your current airbox and it would sound amazing. Alternatively you can spend another 300 dollars on an aftermarket intake

Alright pour a slab put the lift on the slab outside or pour a big slab put a steel on slab , put a couple lift inside steel building . A good place to keep your cars in and clean . Put a sign on steel building that say's NO ROOSTERS ALOUD . Great video , great channel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you need to go catless or relocated cats further back before you melt them being dual pully. you also need a heat exchanger being in fl summer especially.

Sam, have you ever done a video on your research methods? I think that is something that could be mighty helpful to a lot of folks and you appear to be very adept at finding information. I'm not actually interested in cars, I just really like the way you do your videos. I'm in commercial class eight truck operations but I realized that you could probably teach me research tips. :-)

8:20 - By the way, it's a horse stall but you don't have horses inside in the first place, it's filled with cars and car parts, why don't you give in and get a lift? If you end up having horses in that stall they can use it too, it's a double win!

Sounds alright with the valves open but with them closed it sounds like garbage
it's called a portable lift...its comes with 2 scissor lifts that run along the running boards and does not require any permanent mounting so you can use it in the stall without messing up the stall...
