In case people don't know, you can target your ravens by re-summoning one onto the mob you want to kill. All your ravens will then head to that mob and attack it until it dies.
Man, you know how hammers and blunt weapons have 50% increased damage to undead, and how holy bolts ignore immunities vs undead? Ravens should do bonus vs insects and ignore immunities on insects.
I feel your ISP pain. Had nearly the same experience, and argued over and over for them to fix on their end. After months and months, they finally investigated the line, and called me to say "You had a massive short on your line, at our service station end... we're surprised you had any service at all. Oh, and while we were there, we noticed you were plugged in to an access point in one direction, but there’s one about half the distance away in the other direction, so we switched you over and it should double your speed. Don’t know why you were set up that way in the first place.". The ISP incompetence is real.
Even back in LOD there was a guy completing Normal with only Raven, now Raven is buffed, ofc we can run it again. Good job. About Ravens in Hell: even in Hell, Raven is the main source of damage of zoo druid(before taking into account the damage boost from auras for other summons). As I calculated, a full synergized zoo druid, with 20 pts on each of the summons, before applying auras(Might, Pride, HOW), the raw damage of SW+DW+GZ are like 15K, while Raven is 5K each, so 25K in total. Tip: Ravens go back to the mob they didn't manage to kill. So retargeting is not possible by teleport.
Hydra needs to drop Fireball as a synergy and up Firebolt from 3% synergy to 6%. It's a major stretch to think you can do a dual element Hydra build when Hydra takes 80 skill points to max.
You can deal good Frozen Orb damage from 20 points in Orb and 5 points in Cold Mastery. You can max Hydra, Fire Mastery and Fire Ball with a basic Orb setup while not even being level 90 and still be able to deal enough damage to clear content. You. Don't. Need. Max. Skills.
Im playing this build right now on hc and there is nothing more boring I have ever experienced in Diablo. Necromancer is soo much better with corpse explosion.
Man back in the day it was 1 raven per level. With plus skills you can get 32 ravens. it was crazy. They did this with skeletons too. You could have 20 revives, 20 skellys, 20 mages. The skellys used to not clip through players either. So you would have to unsummon or rejoin the game to even walk around act 3. But they patched it in a week.
I had a +3 Raven headpiece drop on my summon druid a few days ago. It was glorious. I think I'll stop summoning my wolves annd bear and just try the ravens for a bit after watching this.
When speaking to an ISP, they always, ALWAYS give you the run around if you don't approach them with a problem and sound technical. If you sound like you know more than them they'll either put you through to the technician dispatch or you can ask to speak to a technician and THEY will actually go into your device and check the signals and figure out where the signal is weak and what is causing it. I've done this in 3 neighborhoods and gotten block and town hubs replaced. Lol
Watching this again in the background while I work and hearing the Spectrum internet stuff haha that is the exact same experience I had with them...bought a new house with AT&T fiber and have not had one issue since.
The reason Druid summon synergies work differently from every other synergy tree in the game is because Druid summon synergies existed before 1.10, when they implemented them for all classes and skill trees.
That system is a bit of a relic now, since the whole reason that they had synergies before other skills had is that the summons used to be exclusive, so the summons other than the one you used were purely a passive skill in practice.

Summoner was the first 2.4 class I ran through solo self found. Ravens are fantastic they do great damage with the synergies and don't clutter up rooms

After level 9, when base damage crosses 10, the synergies do more than the single Raven skill point. Of course, once you have some synergies (even 1 point) the Raven points are worth more. So after level 9 it's probably best to alternate - maybe not 1:1, though.
It's always worth boosting the Raven skill before the synergy. At level 8, the base damage is 9-18 (a 12.5% increase over level 7) but at 9 it gets an increase to 13-23 (a 44% increase over level 8). It takes until level 19 before the max damage drops below the 12% synergy, but even then the minimum damage still stays above 12% all the way to level 20 (where it's a 12.3% increase over a synergy).
wait how does ravenlore and +1 to ravens help ravens then ? isnt soft points suppposed to be points given to a skill from items and gear ? and hard points being the ones you directly put into it from levels
it would be interesting if at lvl 20 the bear got an additional summon, or it gets fire and physical damage instead from the start then the wolves and bear could get a synergy from like, firestorm or arctic blast to boost their elemental damage like how poisen creeper gets a buff from rabies
I love a good Blizzard/ Hydra build- firing out a Frozen Orb every now and then. The only thing Orb could do with is a slight range improvement with hard points in the skill. Even just 0.1 per level would work out quite nicely when maxed.
Saw that the Spirit Wolf also buffed the +AR% as well as the listed 12% dmg from synergy. So I'm thinking the Bear's +dmg buff will affect the Raven's Dmg. Ravens are now treated as spells and do not disappear until they make all their hits. As Ravens have no life, the Dire Wolf would only synergy the 12% so boost it last
I remember about a year and a half ago you criticized the raven and I jumped in to defend them. It is true that ravens now are insanely effective and I am happy that my favorite UA-camr now says they are legit.
Ravens are amazing. I go all Ravens until I run out but maybe throw in a wolf along the way just as a tank. Can't wait to start my Zoo Druid for Ladder.

I think the best druid summoner merc is A3 with last wish, phoenix and flickering flame. Enchant is pretty strong and helps against phys immune. Might is much weacker for summoner druid, than for necro summoner.
No, druid summons have 20-30k AR already and fire damage from enchant is negligible (less than 2%), act 2 might merc with reapers toll on the other hand solves immunes and givesmore than 20% damage boost

Edit: nevermind, the best was Baal´s desperation on 2:55:24 realizing that mana burn does not burn birds. By then the word had already been spread: there was a very unkind unkindness of ravens butchering demons left and right, and they were coming for him.
ISP's are some of the worst monopolies possible, because internet connection is a service that needs to be consistent and stable 24/7 for anyone that actually uses it for more than looking at facebook once a day, and they hire the most inept and untrained individuals imaginable to cut on costs that do nothing but follow a script to the letter and find any excuse not to fix your problem (outside of encouraging you to upgrade your service to a more expensive plan). Had many similar issues with mine, including several months during which I would get severe packet loss consistently at specific hours of the day. Try explaining what "packet loss" is to the nimrod that first takes your call 99% of the time asking you to turn it off and on again for the 15th time. I managed to get a technician to come to my house specifically at the time it usually happened (a feat in itself as they don't let you control that much) so it was undeniable when they measured the connection, but they still could not do anything because I was 'allegedly' the only person in the region complaining about it and company policy dictates they can't fix issues, even with proof, until more than one person complains about it, but that it would 'probably' get fixed sometime in the next 2 months. Also that was after a previous visit where the technician claimed they would fix the problem, and when it persisted and I called them back about it they said the tech put it down as "resolved" immediately after the visit ended. Asked to file a complaint on the technician but I'm sure that that went nowhere or the ISP itself told him to do it in the first place.
Doubt it would work too well tbh, or atleast itll take ages to kill, does with a full zoo normally, really needs a amp dam wand or smthn like decrip proc on merc
I would disagree that vines die often, been playing summon druid since launch never spend more than 1 hard point in vines, but because of all +skill i get +25 or more. Have to resummon vine maybe 1 in 3-4 baal/CS runs.

Hydra should get its one synergy from Blaze, to make it a "trapper" kind of playstyle.

They need to add some synergistic sets and other gear to help with summon builds, things like +summon health, +summon damage, etc etc.
Summons already get synergies from +skills from gear and charms unlike every other skill tree. You can make some beefy dogs

Ravens have some great defensive use. If you can blind some of the dolls and souls for example, it is well worth 1 spent point on any Dudu.
