I say this because unlike american Comic heros, most anime characters are in a closed story so if they did anime characters they would most likely just explain the characters arc in their respective story.....like they did with the characters or Watchmen. i feel it is better to do American comic heroes since they're stories are ( for the most part) not finished and instead are constantly being build upon so learning their origin helps explains their motives if you decided or are already reading their comics. This not to say i woudlnt like to see some Anime/Manga characters pop up on WatchMojo.com. i would watch them for sure! i love a lot of Anime characters
It could go so many different ways, mainly because The Question hasn't been explored very much by DC. They could absolutely tank on representing Q, but they could also do an amazing job with further developing a storyline and making The Question have some answers.
...how does the Dark Universe connect to the New 52? And SS got poor reviews, JL got even worse reviews. I highly highly doubt they'll use the Question, since no one seems to be using him. His new origin doesn't even work properly because his character was never explored and his motives didn't make any sense. His stories revolved around large spectacle rather than actual character development and by the end of Trinity of Sin I was left with more questions than answers. I know exactly HOW the story should be set out, but I'm not exactly the guy DC is looking for to revive a relatively unknown character.
I really liked the Question on the justice league cartoon. After seeing Rorschach I was like "hmm he seems like the question" :P I enjoyed his conspiracy theories. I was hopping they would give him more screen time. :(
Jeffery Combs was the perfect choice to voice the Question in the Justice League. He could even do it live action if he was a younger man. Great actor.
This overview of "The Question" was terrible. It never mentioned that this character was created by Steve Ditko, a legend in the comic book industry, or the fact that he did so as an expression of his adherence to the philosophy of Objectivism. It never mentions the issue in the 80s called "Zen & Violence" in which the character moving towards a more Buddhist approach really begins. It never talks about how in that run he eventually had encounters with Batman, The Riddler, Green Arrow or the beginning of a long, tense, uneasy relationship with Lady Shiva. Oh and the fact that Shiva & Batman are two of the reasons he remained and improved as a crime fighter. Never touched on his romance with The Huntress and ONLY mentioned his relationship with Montoya without providing detail. It played endless clips of his (awesome) run on JLU w/o ever delving into the storylines he was used in. And ended with talking about his useless run the "New 52." In short, this overview skipped all the good stuff.
+Meamishere I'm pretty sure this isn't an overview, it's an origins coverage. I dunno about you, but I'm pretty sure that when you talk about someone's origins you don't really ponder about what they did as with an overview. Also all their origins cover what happens in the fictional world and they never cover what happens in real life... cause that's not a fictional character's origin but rather development.
I am a fan of The Question, even if he doesn't have superpowers. He makes up for that for his great intellect, detective skills, and excellent hand-to-hand combat prowess.
I don't mind the new 52 version as a character, I just don't like him as Question. But yeah, question has been rebooted plenty of times. Surprisingly the jlu version was pretty good.
The game or the comic? Because is the game, he'd be useless and no one would want to play as him seeing as he has no powers and no gadgets. In the comic, it would be much better for him to stay out of it unless he was on Batman's side spying on Superman or something like that since he's good at getting information.
In the game... he'll essentially be just a character who's good in hand to hand. In the comic, it's hard to see which side he'll be on if he ever gets in the conflict due to his morals.
The Question is one of my favorite characters from the Justice League Unlimited series, can't wait to see how he is done in either the TV or Movie DC universe.
I love the question. He is such an underrated hero. Is is just because he is human and has no powers? p.s. I think anyone in a relationship with him would have to have a very open mind with all of his conspiracy theories. I know I would never be bored.
I still don't understand how the Question hasn't appeared on Arrow, Flash or LOT yet, not like he is hard to do in live action or cost a lot. Here is hoping he shows up in Justice League Action at some point. The Question is one of my top 5 favorite DC heroes. My favorite thing is in the novel helltown he hi jacks a bus with kids on it has one of his first acts as a hero.
***** Wasn't Bane's mouth business all mucked up? I'd imagine he could only drink liquid food. I mean if he needs the mask to breathe, then why can he take it off to eat? Unless he's taking it off and putting it back on between bites, which would be hell.
