I have decided why I love your tutorials more than most instructors. You aren’t afraid to ‘pull’ open the stitches so we can see the correct stitch to place the hook. For example, on round 3, the stitch after the FPDC is sort of hidden. Once you pulled open the stitches it makes it easy to see the correct placement and have the correct number of stitches per round. Thank you for making your tutorials so easy to understand.
And mostly for me, she's easy to understand. Some of these folks don't speak good english and I can't understand.
Where do you find her pattern?
Very Beautiful Ms. Crystal ❤❤❤❤
A couple more things I love are that you take your time crocheting the individual stitches, like some videos still feel like people are trying to show how fast they can make a stitch, which is fine except for when like you mention here you’re trying to figure out where they are placing the stitch. And another thing I love that I’ve seen in other tutorials of hers is that she always says essentially you know do what you can, it doesn’t have to be perfect to be a nice crochet item
It only took me a few seconds to know that I’ll be crocheting this beanie - so super COOL!!🥰👏🧶💝
Thank you 😊
Thank you! This one I will make it asap! ❤
Luv this1❤
You really look good in the red hat ir makes u glow ❣️💥
Is there any way that I can use the Coffee Shop yarn to make this beanie? It is a 3 weught yarn. I would love to make some hats for my FedEx and Amazon drivers to show my appreciation to their hard work for me. Since they are all men, the cap can't look "girly". I have a good smount of Coffee Shop yarn but I need a hat pattern that I can use that 3 weight yarn. Do you have any suggestions, Crystal? Thank you so much for all you do!!
Thank you for this Crystal! I hope you don’t mind but I will be making this beanie for the ladies in need.
I don’t go outside much in the winter, so have no need for beanies myself, but I make them for friends, family and for others, and most especially for the homeless and families who have had to relocate due to escaping from domestic abuse and are just restarting their lives with next to no money. I like to mix up the patterns as well as the colors so folks have a choice of something that appeals to them instead of everyone having the one same generic beanie and it keeps me from getting bored just repeating one pattern constantly. This is so beautiful and l think it will be a big hit. Thank you for sharing! ❤
I also make hats for the homeless every year. Love all the variety of hats Crystal has.
Me too, I don't go out much since battling breast cancer twice. But the good Lord help me beat it. I make them for our homeless shelter, women and children and cancer patients. I adore Crystal and how she shares her hat tutorials.
I wear bifocals and your camera work is TOP NOTCH. You are an excellent caring teacher/crafter.
I love this Quicksilver beanie. I will be making this for all my 6 great grandchildren. Thank you so much, you are a great teacher.
Thank you so much!
Yup, this is next! It jumped the line! I will be making 4 of these plus 7 others made from your tutorials, which I thank you for. 💜
Thank you, Crystal. Your tutorials are fantastic! You make a point of showing just where the stitches are and where to put our hooks. I’ve always avoided making knit hats because I always managed to lose stitches in the round and then just gave up. Your videos and explanations are clear. In addition, you go slowly and use close-ups to really show the stitches. You’re fabulous. Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us.
Yay! You finally have a tutorial for this hat! I took one of your previous hats
and started it similar to this one and then continued in the
ribbing pattern for the rest of the hat. I have finished some with single
crochet, some with half double crochet, or no finishing at all. Love the
ribbing all the way down the hat.
Thank you!
This is indeed a beautiful pattern, but I realize I would have be mindful as I work through it, so I'll just listen and watch this time and then rewatch to do the actual pattern. Thank you for all you do to teach us unusual and unique techniques💕💕
As soon as I saw this beanie, I knew that I would be incorporating it into my selection of hats that I make and donate to my local hospital's nursery and NICU.
Thanks again, Crystal, for yet another wonderful tutorial.
I did your last Beannie and I immediately did this one. Amazing outcome ❤ ❤❤Thank you very much! Blessings to you!
Thanks 😊
Thanks for taking the time and energy to put this tutorial together. I appreciate all you do!
Love this, beanie. It is cute and fast to make. Thank you, Crystal, for another great pattern.
Great beanie tutorial. Counting is important after every row as I missed a stitch in rounds 5&6. This is the 5th beanie I have made from your tutorials. All fit perfectly.
And I’ve been searching for a ribbed beanie today for my daughter, thank you 😊
I wear beanies all winter because we get a lot of snow and it's very cold here in Reno (in the Silver state!)hills. I will definitely be making this! Ty Crystal ❤❤❤
Thank you Crystal , beginner here, but I’ve already made 8 hats. Your tutorials are great. ❤
Watched twice and the second time I did the tutorial along with you until row 9, then I continued working on it after the tutorial. It is a great tutorial and an easy pattern to make. Thank you for all your hard work in making your tutorials 💜
Love the beanie in one color. The stitch is the star of the show 🤩 Will definitely make one, or 2 or 3…I have a white yarn waiting for this beanie 🎉
Thank you I crochet this for my mom she is very happy n wants a second one in a different colour. Thank you for sharing. ✨♥️
Simplicity is Beauty … and this hat is so beautiful in Nako yarn! ❤❤❤🧶🧶🧶

Thank you. I love making hats from the top down.
I love the way your hats fit
Yay! I ended up with 72. I have no idea what I did before, but it came out right this time.
I'm so frustrated. I keep coming up with 70 for row 6.
Our church is preparing "care bags" for homeless men and women and crochet beanies are included. I plan to use all of my stash for this project so will be stitching these in 2024. Have crocheted for years but mostly flat work. Looking forward to doing something beneficial for some folks in need. Thanks Crystal. I watch your channel often.
You always make the increase in post stitches so easy! Thank you Crystal. I love the new pattern.
Thank you! 😊
Thanks to Juan I’ve finally found a beanie / hat for my husband. He loves it. Thanks for sharing 😊
I can’t believe it, I just made this on my own! Except I modified with a hole in the 8th row to become a pony tail beanie! I will post a picture on your Facebook page!!

Hello is your name Racine my name is Racene I’ve never met anyone else with that name!
Chrystal that red is beautiful on you!
Thank you Crystal for one of the easiest patterns I have ever seen. I make beanies, hats, scarfs and shawls to donate and this pattern will be utilized oh so often.
I made about 10 hats using this pattern. Thank you so much Crystal. Your awesome.
I love this so much. I have several bald by chose men in my family and I need to make hats for all of them. This is it. Thank you so much.
Thanks for making this fun hat so easy to understand!!!! I'm on my second one because the first one was so fun to make!
I have never done a ribbed crown before. I LOVE it! I needed the front post DC practice, too.
Just watched and made this! I am so happy! It 'turned out good and I am not good at crochet!! Thank you.
Just bought a beautiful yarn and this will be perfect! Thank you!
Very nice beanie! I like the simplicity and style of it.
This is super cute. I started it a few hours ago and am about 1/2 way done. I don't know what my problem was but for some reason I couldn't get row 3 to come out right. I frogged it 2 times. On the 3rd try finally got it. Row 2 was perfect so no need to frog row 1 or 2. After that little problem, the rest of the rows came out fine on the first go around. Sometimes stuff like this just happens to me. I hope to have it finished tomorrow. Thanks Crystal 💛👍
Love it! Definitely going to be making lots of these. Thank you Crystal for sharing this amazing beanie.
Such a good, clear, easy beanie! So well explained and demonstrated! Thank you!
Thank you Crystal, the repetition and the end of the row tip are both helpful and appreciated. This stuff is fun😎.
This looks like a great way to work on front post stitches. Love it!!
I just finished a beanie last night!!!! I LOVE this one and I want it slouchy!!!!!!!!!
Working on this now in variagated yarn. It's going to be a riot of color!
That is so pretty! I love that yarn, too.
I like the look of SC in the back loop for a beanie brim

Making it now in heartland in a nice honey color. It’s going fast and looks great! It’s my first BOD hat but not my last! ❤❤❤
Oooh! Crystal! That's a great design!! Thank you for sharing your hard work!
Took me few froggings at the 4th and 5th rounds but once I got past that I sailed through…now to make 4 more 😊
❤️❤️❤️

Went down a hook size turned out great.
Hi. I know you like brown shades but this red on you is beautiful! I'll be getting yarn for this one for sure. Thank you 😺
Super easy I’m in love with it I will be making a few for Xmas and the homeless thx Crystal ❤️🇨🇦🧶
Well I know what I’m about to start !!
You’re the best in explanation.Thank you Crystal.
I do a reverse sc in the last row. It gives it a twist.
Iam going to make for my son for Xmas. Simple.
Thanks for this tutorial, you just gave me an idea for new hats for Christmas gifts.
You’re welcome 😊
omg, i just almost finished (got to the SC at the end) this and then had to frog it. As I was going along I kept thinking to myself, "oh, this will look better once I add the border. Oops, no. 😫😂 I really like the look of this hat, but maybe it's not for me. It's comically large on my head. lol. I must have a small head. I have to figure out how to make this smaller for myself. I think I have to stop well before 72 stitches. I'll try again. 🥴
I love how quickly it works up and the tutorial is A+ (as always). I just wish that I didn't have a tiny head. haha.
Another great beanie tutorial! I love the texture on your beanies. I'm definitely getting better at post stitches with these tutorials. :)
I am doing this for my brother, grandpa and dad! I have another brother but he's in the military so I wont make his until he returns :) Ty for all that you do I learned so much about crocheting just by watching videos! :)))))
I love this one! Great color and cute beanie ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing. 😎
Thank you! 🤗
Crystal you come up with some of the most beautiful stitches ever. I just love how you teach.
I want to make my 22 y/o son one of these. He works in a garage changing tires and this looks like it will be warm in our cold climate here in Steelers country.. 😊
Hi Crystal! Love your channel and your designs. You are an excellent teacher. Thank you for repeating the sequence of increases-it helps so much!
Nice fun pattern. Mine came out too big for me but I'm sure I will find someone that ot will fit. Thanks
Enjoyed making this beanie. Thanks Crystal for the tutorial.
I’m so making this for my son and me. Love it! Have a great day!!!❤
