Love this pattern! I make hats, scarves, blankets etc for various charities throughout the year. this is a simple, quick pattern which is perfect for my projects. Some of my hats are for small children so I just eliminated the last increase row and used the 18 cluster stitches as the crown part. Thank you Crystal!

I had the same plan. I have 12 skeins of I Love This Yarn to make hats. A read a chemo patients comment about using soft yarn otherwise it's itchy on their bald skin.
@@m.gramlich239 I have heard that same thing and they also don’t like them to be to tight because the medication can cause them to hurt.

Not sure why but, on some of the other patterns, even if I use a smaller hook than called for and the correct weight of yarn, the beanies end up bigger and longer than yours do.
I will adapt and overcome because I love the styles!!!!

Just finished 1, going to start a 2nd using a bigger hook. I used a J, but will use a K on next one. It will be for my big head, lol 😅
