You cannot reproduce with the same sex. There have been points in history where the need for reproduction of a society to sustain the population has been vital to the prevention of that society's collapse. Particularly in war-ravaged areas.
At least someone forced to be straight can have sex to procreate afterwards, someone brainwashed to be gay is in a roundabout sense prevented from breeding.
BTW, gay being entirely "born this way" is an outdated myth. It's epigenetic and based on upbringing as well. We've learned alot since 2008 when "born this way" was a slogan.

EDIT: I was highlighting the contradictions these people jump to to justify their worldview. I do not believe you can be born gay. I do think people can be born with body dysmorphia, but the solution to that is therapy, not going under the knife (just look at the suicide rates after fully transitioning). It is also extremely rare, and the amount of new trans people popping up doesn't reflect that rarity.

I'm a child of the 80's, so my life is the lived history of video games, for the most part. I still remember when gaming was considered the 'nerd' thing to do, and girls absolutely abhorred any guy who liked games and gaming... until of course gaming culture grew to the point that it was the fun thing to do, and men were making names for themselves and making good livings playing them, like Destiny who got his start on the world stage playing StarCraft 2.

When I see examples of female toxicity, especially bullying and exclusion, I wonder if it's male dominated spaces that are toxic, or if the toxic spaces that are male dominated.
Like... do men just hate themselves more than women and put up with toxic people? Do the women just leave or not pick up a hobby out of fear of being ostracised?
If we take gaming and nerd stuff as examples. It's hobbies you used to get shunned for. And it seems like men were just more willing to put up with that, which created a feedback loop where less women would join the hobby, because they were a minority in these spaces.
As a teen I worked as a single guy amongst 7-8 female crew. While most of them left me alone to my devices they very pretty toxic to each other. Rudeness, gossip, nasty surprises for the other shift and so on.
People are just jerks in general, I think.

Its funny that she says male spaces are toxic when women fight tooth and nail for inclusion in said spaces. To the point that its practically illegal to have a male only space now.
I doubt too many women would claim that toxicity doesn't exist in female dominated spaces. Men and women express "toxicity" in different ways. Women tend to do all the shit-talking behind each other's backs and rely on smearing and social undermining instead of yelling slurs or beating each other up.
When it comes to bullying within the gender groups, i'd say men have it better. Level of petty scheming going on amongst women is insane. Men comparatively just yell and beat each other up and then move on for the most part. While petty passive aggressive power games do exist within male circles as well, it's not as prevalent.
If 2 out of 3 are women on the work force, there is a very high probability it's toxic.
