All of this is on her and what she chooses for herself.
nah bro I see this shit all the time. racist white people who want an excuse to be racist towards other people (mostly other white people) use minorities as a shield for their bigotry. they literally see brown people as tokens to be used for their misdeeds.
"Prettiest" yes but not "whitest and skinniest", there's a ton of asians and plenty of popular curvy cosplayers too (curvy not used as a euphemism though). Cosplay shouldn't have to be about being attractive either - just look at male cosplayers. Just don't expect to get a huge following, most people aren't actually *that* interested in costumes.

If youve ever gone to a convention there is more unnattractive cosplayers then attractive cosplayers. Attractiveness is not a barrier to the hobby. Its just that people who's job is cosplay are typically very attractive.
a cosplay job is akin to modelling, and modelling requires some form of attractiveness that sells. Logic sure has gained wings, because it keeps flying out the window.
I don't want to be rude but it's like choosing a job like night shift security when you afraid of dark. Pro cosplayer basically just a model, there's gonna be more "conventionally" attractive person than not.
@@sdedy379 Would be interesting to know how many of the more well known cosplay models - the really attractive ones that get all the attention and are the ones hired for promotions and stuff - actually make their own costumes. Which, i would say, is what cosplay is actually supposed to be about. But yeah, you're right, of course. Professional models are professional models, whether they wear a bikini, lingerie, a dress or whether they look like everyone's favorite waifu of the year while doing it for a job. And naturally, the attractive ones are going to get more attention.
i also like how she throws in trans as another level of victimhood when that doesn't even have anything to do with it. If Sneaky can break the internet with his Sivir cosplay, so can a trans person. (unless it's an obese trans person ofc)
The reason why some cosplayers--if not most--chooses to stay skinny or just have a good overall physique is because this gives them more avenue to cosplay different characters. These cosplayers don't just do it for fun, they also put love into it, passion and effort into it. To the point that it's not just about wearing the same clothes or having the same hair as the character they're cosplaying, they also make sure that their physique matches the character as much as possible.
@@DeMooniC yep we used to like fat people apparently cuz that showed that they're wealthy but now we like skinny, fit people because that shows that they're healthy

People such as herself are always looking for external solutions and for the rest of the world to validate them and conform to make them happy.
If she wants to be happy all she needs to do is love herself more and if she wants to break into a certain area that requires certain beauty standards then it's up to her if she wants to spend the time and effort to try and conform to that.
Personally I think losing weight for health reasons is one thing but I don't see where stressing myself to look good for cosplay would be worth my time.
Just don't expect to get a huge following, most people aren't actually *that* interested in costumes.
a simple google search shows me plenty of attractive black female cosplayers. Apparently IT is only looking for the WHITE conventional attractive cosplayers. Tells me how racist she truly is. 'By the power of white girl, I am offended on your behalf" smh
maybe the reason they don't get traction is because she is ugly inside and out you cant get around this if your funny or a good person bringing joy to people through what you love this person is hate filled and bitter but doesn't want to do better. be better then you were yesterday
Cosplay isn't about being attractive but portraying the character's appearance as close to the original as you can, most popular anime and game characters just happen to be very attractive.
Yo they're still hella attractive tho (no homo)

If youve ever gone to a convention there is more unnattractive cosplayers then attractive cosplayers.
Attractiveness is not a barrier to the hobby.
Its just that people who's job is cosplay are typically very attractive.
The attractive ones just get all the internet traffic.
than*
a cosplay job is akin to modelling, and modelling requires some form of attractiveness that sells.

It's human nature to like attractive things.
