- Finally gettin around to Powder coating my tail pipes so that I can get my exhaust fixed. But I found an easy way to switch the fuel maps on the Dyno spectrum tune.
Great video, as always, dude! The map switching you showed via the 'Gauges' tab was actually put together by Travis Logan in the DS1 group and I totally agree -- it's super slick. There are two other ways for you to map switch: 1) just like you did with the 'Gauges' method, connect to DS1 WiFi, select the ECU tab -> "Map Switch", enter the number of the map you wish to use, or 2) via the cruise control stalk, which can be done at idle, while driving, however you want. It's a little more involved, but doesn't require you to bust out your phone, switch WiFi to the DS1, use a browser or anything like that. John Banks made a pretty decent video of how to do it. I'll shoot it over to you or add it in a comment here if I can.

Biggest thing to remember is that the method is the same for changing the lap timer gauge and the ECU map, just one starts with cruise control ON and one starts with it OFF. You'll know which you're adjusting by which light flashes. EPC = gauge, CEL = map.
Thanks man!! You alway come through in the clutch!!
Keep doing it.
DS1 rocks
My DS1 is on the way! Stage 3!
You can change the tune from the cruise control stock. It’s simple and fast.
How? I read that you hold down cancel on the stalk and then press up once for 93 and up again for 100?
Can you swipe back to stock factory tune as well? Yks!
Yes with the DS1 you can stage 0 which is the stock tune
Great video. I read that you can also change with the cruise control stalk. Is that true? and how does that work?
Yes this is true! What you would want to do is..... make sure that your stalk is in the off position. nest you are wanting to start pushing the stalk towards the on position but not fully engaging it for at least 2 seconds. You will see the tac needle go to the file that is currently flashed 0= 91 Ron or octane, 1= 93 Ron or octane. Let me know if you have any other questions
Thanks for the answer. How has your long term experience been with the tune? Did it affect your gas mileage much?
No worries! And yes gas mileage did suffer 😂😂. But it’s not solely the tunes fault…..more power means more fun…which means your foot is always in it
Did you get the e85 tune? If so, does it calibrate on the fly based off the sensor reading the content?
I’ve not yet. I’ve been using the DS1 manual eternal table… so it doesn’t push the turbos too much
Did you ever install a TCU tune?
Can u tune the tcu with that dyno spectrum module
Unfortunately you cannot. I had to go with Integrated engineer for my tcu tune
@@Daily5280 ok
@@Daily5280 how'd you use 2 different tuners
@@nigels6786 one at a time haha!!
I’m back on the Ds1
