  • Installing the Integrated Engineering 4.0 tune on Se7en. This is the new id on the block that is offering 625 hp and a slue of other features! Im trying to see if this is a move that I'm going to want to make on my build. Tried to get to 1/4 track times but got rained out but that is something that will come in the future.
Alright Fam let me know what you think.......is this something that you would want for your 4.0!?

Wanted to find some other vids on this platform other than Ignition Tube (no offense Eli). The power you get with just a stage 1 tune and the ability to run E85 without messing with any fueling components is insane. I have a Stage 1 ECU/TCU tuned S5 from IE and I'm in love with it. It's looking like an S7 or RS7 will have to be my next car hahaha

Thank you for the content man. It is much appreciated.
Excited to see more interest in the EA824 market. I think IF and only IF you want an out of the box one-and-done tune for the platform, then IE is competitive. ANY other scenario where you might have further need for flexibility, then DS1 with 3rd party TCU is the way to go. Turbo upgrades or Flex Fuel (FF means constant real time adjustment for your fuel as read by a live sensor and isn't risky like running a tank dry and filling it with corn and swapping tunes at a gas station) makes the DS1 too much value and flexibility to ignore. $500 for a sensor and line upgrade to be able to gas up on anything from 91 to full e85 without needing to change anything on the car (also think of the safety of having a live read vs hoping a box tune can adapt) is beyond worth it. Also, the ability to have world class tuners remotely access your vehicle and take the decent box maps from DS1 and tweak them further to your specific engine both adds a safety factor, plus maximizes power.
I am just shopping s6/s7 to upgrade from my tuned b8.5 s4, but I have read hundreds of pages of forum posts to educate myself and even though it'll likely be years before I would need the full DS1 suite, just knowing it's there is impossible to beat from my perspective. Should the turbos fail, most speed freaks are going to grab the rs7 turbos at that point and DS1 is a click of a button and you're good to go. IE you are buying a whole other tune platform again. As much as I appreciate IE's foray into this market, it's hard to justify over DS1 when I know I always tinker with my cars more and more. It would be a terrible feeling to wake up one day and realize that your $2000 in software from IE has to be dropped for another platform because you grew past what IE can offer. Measure twice, cut once as they say. DS1 offers growth and safety that cant be matched. Just how it seems to me!
