I experienced alot of shedding as well. I combined the entire front of my hair line. It was so bad that one loc even fell off. That's what prompt me to combine the front. So now i have alot twins in the front. I'm ok with it. I actually like them better that way.

I considered combining a couple of my finer locs in the front. But I got scared🤣🤣🤣

Try not to over manipulate your hair in the early stages. I feel that’s how I’ve been able to maintain the thickness I desired.
