Hey there,,,,I just got my hair locked yesterday (10/ 08/ 2023) and they are comb coils🤩am happy because now I'll be embarking on a new journey,,, can't wait to see my hair beginning to loc and just look pretty 😍
I started my loc journey July 31st 2021 and my mom friend started my hair with comb coils and my hair started growing very well my mom also does my comb coils💕
I started my locs myself thru freeform i did that for 6-7 and a half months with a sponge and finger twist from a buzz cutt 2 days ago i got a retwist to seperate and start maintaining my locs i got comb coils i learned from my last dread journey freeforming then transferring to semifreeform works best for me
I Started My Loc Journey 3 Months Ago & They Wasn’t Lasting At First But Now I Have Loctician Doing Mine & They’re Holding Together Nicely After Having Them Done For A Week
Great video. Mee too I’ve been loose natural 7plus years and I can tell you anything bout loose natural hair But loc is a whole new game changer.. I went to a stylist for my comb coils I got a 120 and I love it because my hair looks like it’s in a medium size bob my hair started out med back to butt length when first got them locked it was to my ears now the heaviness of the locs now my hair is neck length. Yes ma’am that shrinkage hit different LOL But I’m happy and free that’s me LOL big thumbs up 👍🏾 🚫💉🦁💪🏾🩸
Great video I just started my comb coils and I’m looking for any advice I can get! Im too impatient for this! Hopefully my love turn out clean like yours 😊
I started my loc journey Monday 9/19/22 and I was advised not to get them wet at all for 4 weeks I'm going crazy not being able to put anything in my hair 😩
Just began my new hair journey and was told this as well... I've also heard others say they misted and even shampooed their hair too and it budded/loc'd faster. For me, it would seem that the hair would need H2O for moisture. So I'm currently misting mine daily with rose water.
@@moonhoneymami for me personally it seems to be doing well (I'm only 1 month in). My hair is quite fine but it hasn't unraveled. And yes, it smells AMAZING!!!
@@10meme11 that's amazing I'm 3 months in as of tomorrow I just washed 15 mins ago and my hair is finally not giving me hell by unraveling. Have a great journey beautiful ❤️
Hey! About how long are your coils? If they’re on the shorter side, they may stick out because of that. The new locs need time to form and for gravity to get used to what your hair is going to become as they mature. Wearing a scarf each night should help as well. Hope this helps!
I legit did the two strand twist BC my hair was sooooooo bad since my hair was heavy heavy bad I said two strand twist to keep it extra protective I was was gonna do comb coils but my hair was that that bad I said no going back to how I grew my hair before I damaged it with these hair straightener chemicals
I got comb coils and it’s already fizzing up and I had them done 2 days ago. But my stylist didn’t use any hair locking gel, would it be okay for me to go back in and do a retwist with locking gel I bought? Or would that mess it up?
I'm just gonna take a leap of faith and hope to get some help! I started my loc journey with probably 3 inches or less of hair and I think with all the video I've seen I have 3c hair. I got the coils started 5 days ago and have been using a satin bonnet ever since and my hair is still getting frizzy. As of today(day 5) some of them are starting to fall apart where as some are doing great. What do I need to do from here? I feel so lost on this journey and there's soooo much information I can't get through it all!

You are missed in these UA-cam streets! Hope all is WELL SIS! 💕
I honestly miss all of you too!! I’ll be back soon 🥲
I think I need to do the back of my hair a different way because it doesn’t work even with comb coils 😞😞
Instant locs are another way
I started mine 2 days ago, and I have coils. But it’s sticking up in the back and sides. 😭idk what happened and it happened on the next day.

@@JaninePatrice Yes this did help. Thank you so much 😊
I can still kinda see my curl pattern in my locs from the coils but it’s only been 4 months
