Congratulations, great review. In your opinion, which is the best connection to the DC07PRO in balanced or single ended? Low, medium or high gain? Did you use digital filters?
I would recommend using high gain on the balanced port. Although the 3T-154, is an efficient IEM, I think it will benefit from a power powerful amp. It opens up the highs a bit more.
The 5k regions does not bother me too much, probably because it dips pretty quickly in the upper treble to balance it out. But vocals can be a bit bright to some due to the early rise in the upper mids.
Oh and I used Final E tips when I reviewed the unit, where were relatively narrower tips. Which I thought complemented the FR quite well by boosting the bass and maybe taming the upper mids and treble a bit.
Heard these have excellent bass!!

Nah, there isn’t any dampening material in any of the nozzles. Even says it’s a pair of spares in the manual.

The 5 k region looks menacing. Is there any unnatural sharpness? This looks like a mid focused earphone to me because there is not much upper treble.

Having the largest DD implemented then using a neutral bass tuning with just a slight boosted sub bass seems like a waste.
I would love to see a more v-shaped tuning and perhaps with different tuning nozzles too if there will be a mark ii.
