Very thorough review! I think this might be the first Simgot set I would actually try. I am somewhat sensitive to very high treble/ upper mids and reviewers are generally saying this set addresses that problem.
on aliexpress i found a usbc version and a 3.5mm version with a mic of the ew200 on it with simgot branding and i cant find it anywhere else, whats your thoughts on it?
in the price range I wonder how the EW300 compares to the tanchjim 4u (neutral) and the Artti R1 (bass focused) I enjoyed the EW200 except when playing Genshin, Star rail which have a lot of high frequency sound effects, Artti R1 is great all arounder as the treble is good enough for vocals and the bass hits good. I dont have the tanchjim 4u but I have the tanchjim zero which has similar tuning and also enjoyed it as it is more relaxed and neutral but doesnt lack quality in treble or bass.
I'm currently trying to find replacement for my Moondrop Aria(Original). Thought I really like the pair, I do want an upgrade in details and all. I mostly use iem for music(all type but mostly rock) and movies. What iem would be a direct upgrade to aria around 100 dollars or do I need to spend more?
I have the moondrop chu 2s and love the way they sound but looking for a upgrade. Would these ew300s be a good upgrade? Im looking for the same-ish tuning as the chu 2s. All i have to reference what i like and dont like are the qkz ak6 pros which i didint like, my epos h6 pro which i dont use over my chu 2s, and my airpods which i enjoy. Should i save for the supermix 4 or get the ew300s? i just dont want the supermix 4 to sound too warm as i noticed i dont like warmer sounding tuning (h6 pro, qkz ak6 pro)
If you have the option to save for the Supermix 4, I would do it. I think it is well worth it's extra cost. It isn't too warm in my opinion, however, it is a lot bassier than the ew300 so it depends if you like that tuning. I sadly haven't tried the chu 2 or ak6 pro so sadly I can't comment on those sets 🫤
@@Freezeeks haven't chosen yet. People still haven't convinced me to go with one. I'm looking for something that's a direct upgrade to hexa rn since it's great at everything but bass. Basically i need hexa+good bass in one iem
Thank you! The apple dongle should be enough, but I'd say that this is a set that does benifit from more power, and is a little bit more power hungry than other sets in the price range. So it depends on how loud you typically listen to your iems. 🙂
@@PraisedAudio thank for the reply, can i ask one more question if you don’t mind, so basically the ew300 are loud enough for me at about 70% volume, does this mean it’s enough power , or power mean something else, someone said that volume are not equal to power, just because is loud enough does not mean enough power, sorry for the long question btw , I’m quiet new to the hobby .
No worries, it is actually a controversial topic, with some saying there is no difference and all that's needed is volume, where others say there is. To me, power quality is important, especially for higher end sets. You most likely won't get the best sound out of the dongle than what the EW300 can do with a higher end source, but you will still can get a good sound out of the dongle. Hope this helps. 🙂
Don't get so hung up on price categories - they don't guarantee ABSOLUTELY anything. I have Xenns Tea2 for 400 euro, but for some reason I want to listen to EW200 for 40 euro much more often.
I agree, I currently have the EPZ Q1 pro(~30$) and the Tea2 in the same tier on my teir list(in the description). I compare within the price bracket to help people make purchasing decisions, as people often have a set budget when looking to buy a set of iems. Even still, I will sometimes bring things out of the price bracket, like the Supermix in this case. But not as often as things within the bracket. 🙂

Thank you! 😄
I agree the gold/brass nozzle is terrible. They should have just stuck with the silver stock tuning and knocked off $10 from the price.
100%, This set at 60$ would be crazy!

Like to hear how they compare with supermix 4 (in mid and bass dept)
Which would be better, nova, em6l, ea500lm, or ew300, supermix4? I want all-rounder tendencies without being too provocative.
Sadly, I haven't tried the nova or em6l yet. But out of the ew300, ea500lm, and Supermix 4, the Supermix 4 sounds the best to me by a long shot 🙂
@@PraisedAudio Between ea500lm and ew300?
I prefer the EW300 over the ea500LM 🙂

how does the EW300 compare to Moondrop May? (Both DSP versions)
Sadly I have not tried the DSP EW300 or the Moondrop May, sorry 🫤

Simgot ea500 vs simgot ew300 which one better?
It is close but I prefer the ew300 personally 🙂
Hi. How do you think the Ew300 compares to truthear hexa and IE200
I'm confused which one to get as I'm getting my first IEM 😢
So what did you chose?)

I’m only using apple lightning dongle with my iphone, is that enough to drive this simgot ew300, thank you for the good review btw .

Can you help? EW300 Standard or HBB and will it make a big difference
Sadly I have not tried the other versions of the EW300, sorry 🫤

Which tier would you put these in your tier list?
Around B- or C+, not certain yet as I may be moving some positions around due to a lot of new iems I am going to be putting in. 🙂
I like the recent trend of having safer upper mids.
