Shattered PD player here. Here's a few tips for your adventures. •Utilize traps to your advantage: Most traps (like the darts, disintegratation, and grim) will target the closest entity nearby when activated, either that be you or an enemy. You can exploit this by tossing an item onto the trap and trigger it near an enemy for free damage •Save up your upgrade scrolls for better gear: Unless you're going for a Monk run, using an upgrade scroll on a Tier 2 and/or Tier 3 gear is very wasteful in terms of late game. Of course, it's not a bad idea to get a decent weapon or armor for early game, but it'll fall off quickly with the introduction of stronger enemies (that being Skeletons and Prison Guards). If you can, try saving your scrolls later for higher tier gear or late game rings. Also, weapons and armor can have their strength requirements reduced if upgraded at a certain number of times. •Plan accordingly when engaging: Most enemies are tedious and outright atrocious to fight against (Scorpios are going to be the most annoying enemies you'll have to face), but every enemy does have a weakness. The best way to approach enemies is to try and lure them into a corridor attack them that way, you'll only have to fight one enemy at a time. •Curse equipping: Despite curses being the opposite of enchants, some can still be of use regardless of its downsides. e.g. explosive, displacing, overgrowth, metabolism, and multiplicacy are some of the curses that can be of use to you, given the odds are in your favor. :] •Each puzzle room has a solution: If you encounter a room that needs something to be solved, then that level will always provide an item that is the key for said room. Barricaded rooms require a potion of liquid flame to access (or just use the cool kids method; seed of firebloom), rooms with a sentry can be overcome by using a potion of haste, piranha rooms' chest can be accessed by *k̶i̶l̶l̶i̶n̶g̶ t̶h̶e̶m̶, f̶r̶e̶e̶ m̶e̶a̶t̶* using a potion of invisibility. Lastly, Potion, seed, stone, and scroll utility: One shouldn't be ashamed when using an item when you're in a pinch. If you want to smoke out enemies in a room, then you can toss in a potion of poisonous gas. Caught in a fight you know you can't win? Plop down a seed of fadeleaf or use a scroll of teleportation to escape certain doom. Need a way to understand the level's layout? Then use a stone of clairvoyance or scroll of magic mapping. (Tip, if you managed to get your hands on a potion of experience, always turn it into its exotic counterpart. You'll get +2 talent point for 1 of the 4 tiers)
You can increase strength with the strength potion, which u would need to identify first. I suggest just try drink the potion u get in each floor one by one before proceeding to the next floor, preferably near water tiles so that u are all good if the unidentified potion is liquid flame. Extra tips : By using Duelist character, the strength potion is identified initially. Hope u still enjoy the game❤
@@GoatForceGaming If you're looking for more like this, try Cardinal Quest 2. Lots of unlockable characters, at least as I remember. It's been ages since I played it, but I remember loving it.
You found the strength potion early on. Once you drink a potion you should know that all of that color potion are the same for that run. Remember the colors before you drink them, I'm not sure if examine will tell you or not, so try to get a double of a potion color sometime and check that out. Potions reset each run. I'm telling you this based on similar games, I have not played this particular one.
Experienced players can actually win every single game~and easily ! You'd be surprised by how high the skill cieling is Winning is (very) easy, but learning how to win is (very) hard Lots and lots of trying and error

when you see a wooden baracade on a floor it is guaranteed to have a fire potion on the floor you could use to burn it
@@iccolo this is also the case with the piranha, trap, and wall of fire room. The potion is somewhere in the stage.
This little mobile game ranks up there with Sulfur as favorite series of mine on this channel. Great video buddy!
Nice to see you try a traditional rougelike. Have fun!
Thanks so much! I'm really enjoying this one.
This game looks like a lot of fun
I used to play this one! Crazy to see it pop up again after all this time.

I see your bow is on a quick bar. Maybe try pressing 1 since it's in the first slot?
Maybe that will do it! I'm definitely going to give that a try. Thanks so much for the suggestion.
