    TheFatRat Music in the background, nice^^
    Also: a script to fertilize all the plants, very smart^^

    I feel like you could have gotten the light and fire potion in fewer attempts if you had diluted when you were at the southmost point of the firebell path instead of diluting when you were already aligned with light, as that would have pulled the path very slightly northwards.

    If you would use water before going up at 3:33 you would get somee extra distance because the water pulls up a little as well.

    I didn't realize that you were using a script to water and fertilize your garden, that's really cool.

    I really love that youre not stop working while you explain... It would take out alle the energy from your videos and make them unnecessary long. 😅 I really enjoy the videos, even the less edited ones.

    At 1:25 and 2:22 After getting the health back,you needed to move as down as possible and add water, to pull the path UP and get a light+3 effect. I don't have sulfurs shelf so i do a similar path but using 5 firebells.
    Day 35 on my game and I never seen the crystalmancer. I wonder if the merchants you get are random. As well as what they sell, I got the Minotaur guy many times but he never had the pond, when it had it, he never had the caves and still he doesn't have them.
    7:07 My shiftness3 Dex 2 uses 6 ingredients in this order: Goldtorn, windbloom, witchshroom, tangleweed, waterbloom, lifeleaf.
    7:49 I did that one in 10 ingredients. I got lightning first. Then explosion, fire, poison and frost. Using water helps you short distance from explosion to frost and saves ingredients.
    9:00 I wish I had sulfur shelf. Still manage to do that necro potion with only 10 ingredients, I can probably make it in 7 or 8 now that I have more ingredient options than before.
    10:00 My livido recipe is goldtorn+firebell+firebell+firebell+goldtorn+windbloom. Goldtorns as a replacement for madshroom that I don't have.
    10:27 Seven ingredients for invisibility, very nice. I don't have Ice Twise or how ever that ingredient is called. So I did witch+witch+witch+witch (got +1 mana) then +wind+wind+wind+wind (through 3 whirlpools) and as an extra a tangeweed and used a ton of water to get into a +1 dexterity. So I have a invis 3 with only 3 kind of ingredients that also has multiple effects for those who are picky about their potions. Or, a mana 1 invis 3 with only 2 kind of ingredients for those who only want 2 ingredients.

      i've read most of your comments, and while some make sense, i'm not trying to create the most optimal potion every time just good enough, as for the reason you are not getting oil and crystal, its probably because Its based on how much of the path you have completed. I could only get level 2 growth with a mudshroom and tangle without salt, I have had some people I think refrence recipes with salt without mention they include salt(ex:1 gold thorn for poison, where that needs moon salt)

      @@Beast10x1 " i'm not trying to create the most optimal potion"←That is fine, I hope others that are into that can appreciate my comments.
      "its probably because Its based on how much of the path you have completed"←Is odd, I think my path is almost the same as yours, I been in the V path with the only think I need is buy the basic alchemy expansion. I may have took longer to buy the pond and that probably slow down when the next upgrades show. Your play through, you made more money faster than me and you spend less on paper before you buy the upgrades, you got the garden upgrades way faster, so maybe that affect how soon the other stuff appeared for you.
      " I could only get level 2 growth"←If a salt is needed I would mention it. You probably not using water properly like you did when doing the fire2 light 3 potion, where you only needed to use a bit of water after passing the bones to [pull up the path and get the level 3 light. Instead, you keep trying from scratch without using water, which is why you had to try like 20+ times till you got it right. My guess is that you are not using water effectively when you are using the tangle weed. Also, you have to do "water+whirlpool+water+whirlpool+water+whirlpool+" as much as possible so you are always on the most outside of the whirlpool so you get pushed the furthest away. So, yea, you need to improve your alchemist skill when it comes to adding water at the right times. If you need, I can make a video to show the recipe done?
      I still don't have moon salts. Duno what that does.Does it inflates the ingredient path so it can reach further?

    So far I'm 40 hours deep in the game on normal.
    The sheer grind to get the philosopher make me want close the game at every moment; the wild growing min/maw shenanigan make me want to have my hand sawed away from my arm so I stop wasting time trying to :
    Use oil to and overabundent ingredient (tangleweed, dryad's saddle...); to get ALL advanced rank three potion out of sheer min/max.
    ...and yet I can't stop to continue because it's my exact type of game
    May crystal saves me...

      Might be worth it if I can get it in seven ingredients, but I don’t know if I can get that with my current ones, mudshroom strength sells for around 6 gold to merchants, the bad strength Necromancy I made used 16 ingredients. So yea not worth it yet. I do have a 4 ingredient recipe on my old save and it’s possible in wine with 1+salt so I will do those when I can

    Potioncraft was a lot better when your average performance matters, rather than just getting a single really overpowered run then printing out 2 million duplicates at the press of a button. It's the same design flaw that ruined Factorio with its blueprint system, though at least with this game you actually have to perform the initial build, not just download it off the internet.
    It was a really bad decision to make the recipe book optimal with its 5x discount, so now you're forced to play the lame way.

    • @Beast10x1
      @Beast10x1  3 дні тому +20

      I do feel like they messed up in some areas, especially for suffering mode as you earn enough in classic from customers. I will probably give all my feedback in one video once I've finished the series. Good ideas, but bad execution especially for suffering mode. not to say I'm not having fun (:

    • @ivan0912
      @ivan0912 3 дні тому +13

      regarding factorio, i love everything about the base game. i personally believe nothing is wrong with the blueprint system, as it allows expanding the factory easy and is a core part of the gameplay. the only gripe I have is quality. quality just feels way too luck-dependent and way too complicated.

      @@Beast10x1 Yeah that's a good way of putting it. They've done a really good job so far so i'm sure they'll patch the issues quickly.

    • @fabienso5889
      @fabienso5889 3 дні тому +14

      Blueprint are literally the best part of Factorio
      You can just deal with the logistic instead of manually placing 120 assembler like in satisfactory
      If you don't like downloading them don't

    • @omegahaxors9-11
      @omegahaxors9-11 3 дні тому +3

      @@fabienso5889 Blueprints ruined the game because before if you wanted to improve your factory it was incentivized to redesign your setup. Now you can just mindlessly scale up by tiling, limited only by your resources. Every single person plays the same now: build a tile design and then expand it out endlessly.
      This in most cases isn't a big deal since you can choose not to use it, but absolutely decimates multiplayer since it's physically impossible to play with any group that doesn't have at least one (or multiple) players who fall into that extremely boring playstyle and they WILL make it a problem if you ask them not to do that.
      Not to mention the temptation to not just duplicate a factory when you need 2x the resources when you would be better off redesigning can't be ignored either.
