- My impressions of the new Marshall Blues Breaker reissue inside and out! Some circuit analysis as well. Schematics you find online may not be representative of the real blues breaker!

I’d love to see you do one of the PRS pedals, like the Horsemeat. They seem really well built, but I don’t have your expertise…
Really enjoying this series of videos. I would love to see one of these on the Maxon OD808, specifically comparing it to the TS10 since Analog Mike says they're basically the same.
Thank you so much for your feedback!!!!! I will!! 🙌🏻
Best channel on the tube!
3 words. GupTech Angel Honker. The best Bluesbreaker pedal.
Love the overview!
I kind of love that LED extender/holder...
For the B22K, maybe get a B20K and inline a 2K resistor to get the value
The LED holder is pretty lol
My footswitch broke . I need a nee one . Do you know what type footswitch I need to order ? They are a bit smaller than otter pedals . Thx Mike
Latching dpdt footswitch.
Good video. Not convinced the components and build quality warrant the hefty $250 price tag.
No, it doesn't warrant the hefty $250 price tag. I will say, it's as close as several companies have gotten to a mass-produced reissue using non-NOS components. I have one, but $250 is too much I will agree.
@@dannyllerenatv8635no need nos components.. this reissue is exactly the same as the originals. Only pots and jacks have changed (manufacturer closed since). For the rest of the components they are still produced.
150€ / 150usd approx here in europe.
@@MSMWorkshop They have also dropped considerably in asking price
9:08 I’m famous 😂
Hold up... correct me if I'm wrong, but is that not a Resistor in C3 which is supposed to be a capacitor?
Indeed a capacitor!! I took it out this morning and measured it with my capacitor meter 9.35pf
@@TheToneGeek That's wild... looks like a metal film resistor to me.
I hate to admit, I built a generic Bluesbreaker clone from Musikding a while back and now I just got the reissue in...
My synopsis is that my cheap clone sounds much better...
Not bragging, but I put the reissue on my board, played a few days, and then swapped it back off...
It just sounds kinda dull and lifeless... like it's barely doing anything to contribute to the sound. My clone has a nice, crisp treble response, decent bit of overdrive that only gets noisy the last 1/4'th before max, etc... It's definitely the best sounding clone I've made
I'm certainly glad I didn't pay $800-$1,000 for the original... but I HAD to have one to bust the mystery once and for all.
At least now I can put it away and let my son sell it for a fortune when I'm dead and gone
@@ChrsGuit yeah man! I don't think the capacitors are very common like these. Actually, the first time I ever saw these was with the original blues breaker.
Ha!! I love my clone, @frogpedals BluesMaster, and @janniswiese blues breaker clone he built me. This one is good! I need more time actually playing it 🤣
Ha! Best of luck to your son selling it for $$$$$ later on 🙌🏻
@@TheToneGeek the only place I’ve seen these caps that look like resistors is in the 90s era Marshall stuff. They also come in pink as well as the green.
@@TheToneGeek The Blammo Blues Blaster is my favorite clone. Check it out
Is circuit exactly the same as the original?
Appears to be!
@@TheToneGeekThx😊
It is. Same components manufacturer.
