- The Polo GT has always been one of the go to cars if you want an inexpensive and fun to drive car. But where as the international market has shifted onto the 6th generation or MK6 Polo, India has gotten a facelifted 5th generation model for 2019. But we aren't complaining because VW has now given it the whole Polo GTI body kit. It still has the minimal and comfy interior with the TSI still having the amazing Dual Clutch Transmission. Please make a video on "The skills of driving a GT TSI" as you said that "if you know how to drive this car properly". And make another video describing how to take care of the DSG gearbox and the cost of maintaining it.

Bro a quick question the new face lifted tsi is coming with black roof (roof) your video shows as well the Web sites, but most of the dealership I visited to book a tsi 2 days back doesn't have black roof and side fender gt line badging. They said its not available that was a sticker job and officially the car is not dual tone. Is that true? Or are they trying to finish the MY19 Stocks with a mere bumpers and MY20 stocks will be with black roof and gtline badging etc. Please share some light on this.
We're pretty sure that VW dealerships offer the "GT Sport Pack" which has the black accents. Or else you can get that done in their accessories department for some extra money.

The showroom we filmed at said that the graphics and black accents came in the GT Line Package.

The Polo is good choice, although the 1 Litre petrol isn't my favourite. But the 5 year service should be around 42k.

It seems really difficult because usually the manufacturer will send parts for a car according to the model year. If you somehow bypass that it may come under insurance fraud, but not as severe as a proper insurance fraud. In this case, you need to know someone really high up in VW.

biggest difference between the gt brothers would be the dsg dual clutch transmission.. i would suggest you take test drive of both vehicles.. you will easily make a decision instantly.. people either love or hate dsg.. no grey area.. i love it though :)

No I think you would be fine. Even I am 5'8 and it's moderately comfortable for me.

The average maintenance cost for Polo GT is almost 60k for 5 years. The DCT is a great transmission if you know how to take care of it.
60k km around dsg will give problem, if they fix on good will no cost else 1.2L

What is the service cost? I have been thinking of buying this but then there is a lot of buzz abt the service cost and unreliable dsg gearbox. Your thoughts on it plz.
Yes service cost is a little bit more expensive than the competition because 1. It's German and 2. It's German. Which mean everything works and the fit and finish is top quality. The DSG is the only iffy component in the car but if you know how to take care of it, then by all means go ahead and buy it.
Can you please provide approx cost of service and provide basic tips to drive a dsg. U can also do a vdo on driving skills for dsg.

I have a question which is better tsi or tdi?
Depends on what you want, TDI. gives better mileage, TSI has more driving pleasure as the engine is much more smoother. TDIs have crazy amounts of torque but no high range speed whereas TSI have a decent amount of torque and are super rev happy.
When is the 6th generation polo coming to India ?
We've heard rumours that it might come late 2020 in 2021. VW is currently expanding their factory in Pune for cars like the T-Cross. The T-Cross and the MK6 Polo have the same platform so it might come.
it will not come with 1.2L audi engine...dont be excited about new chasis :)

expensive? lol if u convert that to nepali currency its 16,00,000 where as we'll be paying almost 50,00,000 for this here in nepal yet people don't consider this as an expensive car. The tax here in nepal is crazy
Build quality, engine is great but there are few basic things like headlight power for Indian roads POLO sucks on that. Also, the Audio system is not great, you cannot do any modification then you'll be tampering VW warranty in addition, service cost is expensive.

polo gt tsi or seltos dct? is kia dct reliable?
Not sure about Kia's DCT. But VWs DCT is moderately reliable. If you know how to take care of DCT it'll be a really good buy. DCTs are very different from other types of auto transmissions and they chug a lot of fuel. Personally I would take the GT TSI, but the Kia Seltos GT Line is a good car I've heard.

Yes it does! I personally own one and you can basically outrun anything on our Indian roads. Even if the Figo has 100 PS, it doesn't have 105 PS, 175 Nm of Torque and lightning quick DCT
