Other companies like Honda, they r into always making their flagship cars better from Gen to gen like the Supreme City. The point here is all the updates they do for their cars is of premium with retaining the genes which most of the buyers like and even I'm into it and bringing home the 5th Gen i-vtec zx on sankranthi.
VW on the other side doesn't want to change their flagship cars like polo which isn't that good for people in this Era so I guess its a 50 50 move from vw side towards the upcoming rivals.
Even VW team would'nt have driven the polo as much as faisal

@@NateRockmans you cant say like that . polo's design is much more simplistic due to no updates since 1 decade . litrally everyone is a fan of polo due to its mind blowing perfoance on a 999 cc engine they gave 110 hp . car enthusiasts will love it . but here majority is common people . they wnat perfomance as well as vfm .
VW is just giving minor updates thats not apt for indian car market . So in that case altroz has sharp design . everyone will look at that design and some drawbacks are there for altroz too
no turbo engine which is becoming common in premium hatch segment
refinement levels are low etc..
so im not complaining VW polo , i too love this car but , if wv gives it a facelift with best in class features , surely VW is a fabulous choice for polo enthusiasts as well as common people . and altroz has a more bigger engine but lacks that punchness of 110 hp that we get in polo . and that will also be rectified when altroz turbo comes

Does manual make sense when you have to face slow traffic in a city like Delhi on your daily commute to work , I guess it doesn't ... It's been one year of my driving the manual and it's getting really tiring , stressful for me.

Faisal bhai, If you wants to do wheel spin on automatic cars just turn on the engine and put the car in neutral, Rev the engine as you can then press the brake put the car in the drive mode release the brake. I am just giving suggestions to you if you wants to do, you can.

The thing is, most reviewers focus on the looks. Sure polo doesn’t look new but even then, the design looks good. Also, VW focus so much on quality. They use most number of robots in their factories. Of course their costs are going to be higher but that shows in the product’s quality.

If you own an abarth go for gti it will certainly feel like you spent your money well. As for gt, I would say it would be a downgrade and a bit of a disappointment coming from an abarth.
Before people start saying something stupid, I personally owned a 2015 gti ( American model) and sold it before coming here. It was a blast. The models here don’t have Limited slip differential though

Does revving quite often or shifting gears in high revs cause damage to engine pistons early?
I mean how could we spend less after the engine clocks 1lak km.
Does all engines require extensive servicing of engine after 1 lak kms
As far as shifting at higher rpms is concerned , it would give you somewhat more wear and tear on the mechanical parts on a longer run , compared to driving it easy , like a really light foot press on accelerator and shifting at the right RPM would keep you relatively bored but your car's economy happy .I don't have any idea about maintenance post 100k on odometer , I've clocked only 10k km myself.

@@digvijaykole6746 VW is not pressurizing anyone to buy. It's their choice to have their product lines. It's upto us to decide what we want. I have booked VW GT TSI last week purely because of the driving experience they provide. i20, though updated with all the features is still not my choice because i don't want a smart phone kind of a car, i want a engine and a drive that kicks me.
