Polo for the ones who love to be in the driver's seat.
I wasn't a polo fan i was always behind features. But my entire mentality changed when I drove the polo. This car is amazing well engineered solid build quality.
GT - Grand Turismo
It is designed for long effortless comfortable highway munching. not aggressive driving on twisties.
GT cars are supposed to be fast like the Ford Mustang GT, or the Maserati Grand Turismo. This just has a GT badge because it's got a bigger engine than the normal polo. Going at a 100 kph in 7th gear is nice and comfortable but if you wanna overtake someone, you gotta downshift. The power is just adequate, not incredible. This is not a proper GT car in any way at all.

how about the Honda city? Same price, vtec, more space and more features?
By the way, I'm not saying the polo is bad on the highways. It's way better than most Indian cars, it just feels overpriced for what it is.
@@sourmiIk vtec is naturally aspirated. So it takes lot more hard work to extract that performance. Gt has 175 nm torque compared citys 145. So mid-range is the game of gt. City is more agile but gt is more planted on highway. Add to that dsg.. gt is the better highway cruiser..

What is the maximum speed you have driven your car at?
I have a doubt the polo has Gncap 4* and the brezza has the same Gncap 4* so which is safe, all people talk about built quality, the reassuring "thud" etc etc Honda city also gets a GNCAP 4* so is there any difference in safety between the 4* GNCAP?

For those who are wondering about why the next gen polo which is launched internationally is not yet in India is because the new polo is longer than 4 metre (4053) and Indian version of any hatch is under 4 metres for some tax purposes and that’s why vw group are modifying platform in right way to find those criteria

It probably won't come in India unless untill it's an import which will make it pricey because the car is slightly longer than 4 metres and the Indian Norms are hatchbacks for under 4 metres, so if the new polo is to be sold properly, it will probably way more pricier than it's competition due to it being more than 4 metres
Really love the performance of GT TSI but its high time they need to get a new generation and interior seems very basic
