The best doctor on UA-cam. His videos on sugar, fats, addiction, and fasting have been watched by me so many times I have been waiting for new stuff. These videos have changed my life :) I now fast, eat low carb, no sugar, no flour, no refined seed oils, and eat only grass fed meat, high quality eggs, wild caught fish, low carb veggies (non root), low carb fruits like berries, and high fat nuts occasionally like pecans. I’ve never felt better. Fasting in my opinion is the most critical part of this. Keto ask is powerful.

I fast 18 hours per day..eat in the window of 6 hours! Keto changed my health. My lipid panel was normal for the first time in my life after ONE YEAR of keto!!! Butter, butter, animal fats, bacon grease, and YES! My numbers were NORMAL, first time ever!

I am always looking forward to Dr. Jamnadas lectures. I am coming from 2 years Keto and are doing intermitting fasting (19/5) an low carb for 1 year now. I am eating fresh vegetables with water boiled meats (fish, beef, chicken) and add butter to it afterwards. I am also using linseed oil (flaxseed oil), native cold pressed canola oil and native extra vergine olive on my daily salad.
Since I now discovered, that I should avoid polyunsaturated fats, I don't know how to adjust my meal plan, since butter is high in AGEs and all liquid fats are mostly polyunsaturated. Should I switch from butter to ghee and use mct oil instead of native coconut oil and cut out all vegetable fats all together? Seems a little extreme, but that's what I understood from listening to it.

There are so many people who are eating whatever they want, and they live 90 years with no problems. So this information is no guarantee for a long life, without issues.

I'm sort of confused, hasnt the video up to this point argued that saturated fat is the type of fat that we want and its better than the monounsaturated fats of the Mediterranean diet. If Crete switched to saturated fat and then started having much higher incidence of heart disease, wouldnt that be implying the opposite?

The talk is a litten Bit oversimplistic. Main causal cause for ASCVD is APO B concentration LdL IS the major part of APO B Count. LDL is directly affected by saturated fat intakte. Oxidation of LDL occurs in the endothelium not in the Plasma. There are no studies in humans that show that saturated fat intakte has benefits with regards to ASCVD mortality.

But I consume a lot of seeds. I have created a recipe that meets the RDA for almost all the essential nutrients. And, because I'm on a ovo-vegetarian ketogenic-ish diet, I have decided to get most of my essential nutrients from eggs, "nuts, seeds", leafy greens, sea greens, fruits as in berries, mushrooms, etc.
I can't eat animal-based foods and don't want to, if I don't eat even seeds there aren't much options for me, sadly. What do you suggest? Can I get a consultation about my exact diet? Thank you!

Seeds are ok, it's seed oils that cause troubles.

I do the same 'cause I' m vegetarian and always hated the taste of meat. Just be careful with the oxalate content of nuts and some veggies. They could lead to kidney stones.

@@iPranjalSinha You're welcome! I just had a recent kidney stone experience because of 'healthy' food and eating lots of nuts specially almonds. And also ate lots of sorts of spinach from the Indian subcontinent which are really healthy but unfortunately high oxalate food also. So be careful with portion and oxalate content('cause they're almost everywhere) to not get kidney stones. It really humbles you quick fast and makes you wonder about what is really healthy and what is not.
Good luck for your diet and I hope you stay healthy!

Boiled, stewed, ect also taste terrible. I'd wager that if you looked at things cooked low and slow, like you would have back in the day meats would have a far better profile when cooked. However it's simply not realistic to tell people to cook their meats in the blandest way possible. My air fryer allows me to cook faster and easier than a stove, which means I cook more vs eating out, which makes it harder to over consume those bad things. Once again, all things in moderation.

Boiled and seasoned meats don't taste bland to me at all, so Dr Jamnadas suggestions are pretty realistic in that sense. If boiled meats are tasting "terrible" for you and you find yourself in a situation where you have to fry you food on a daily basis to avoid dining out, I assume that this particular lecture is not meant for you, since it discusses dietary nuances for people who are health conscious overall. That does not take away from your preferences, it just seems odd for you to mention how terrible a natural way of cooking feels for you.

See the problem is that you like the taste of advanced glycation end products. You should eat once a day, you can slow-cook your food daily this way too. He has it figured out. You just need to get on board. Discipline is a big part of achieving this. Eat to live don't live to eat. You can do it! The science is sound. He really got to the bottom of it all this time. We are blessed to know this information. Share it with everyone that will listen!!!
