All you did was point out the buttons and connections. Pitiful! At least tell the viewers that it is a Dolby Atmos receiver with a 7.2 speaker system. Thumbs down!

Lmao go with Optical for everything no don’t go with optical for everything. Optical audio is dead. Connect all your hdmi devices to that receiver.

Junk, Hard to Use, cannot play TV AUDIO With HDMI/ARC
    Posted 1 year ago
This was posted about a year ago, when I first bought it:
This unit is really hard to use and understand. It is kind of unwieldy and the ethernet is all but useless so far. But the main complaint I have is the HDMI/ARC does not allow you to also play your TV speakers to compliment the center channel speaker, which sounds muddled and a little crappy, plus it seems the optical input might be a little flaky. I had never really thought about it and took it for granted it would, but it does not and it's disappointing. I cannot recommend it at this time, and I am seriously thinking of returning it.
A year+ later, I should have returned it! Never got any real use out of the network connection. It is now on the fritz. The power button is flashing and according to literature, it's gone into "Protect" mode. Luckily, I have a few more months on warranty. I neglected to get the extended warranty because I was sure my credit card company (CitiCard) did. It did not. So I will take it in for warranty service, but this gives no comfort. I have a Kenwood from the early 1990's, and it is still booming, as good as new. I knew this was a dog when I bought it, but at the time was the only game in town. I am in the market, for yet another, bet your bippy, it won't be a denon, and I will get the extended warranty.
