Hmmm it’s hard to say I have only made this one way. I don’t think the texture of jarred cherries will be the same. You could give it a try. I would think a dried fruit like sour cherries or cranberries might be a better option. Let me know what you try.

I can't get glacé or candied cherries this time of year. Do you think I could use well drained cherries from a jar?
