Yay vlogmas! All your advents are so exciting, I'm ever so jealous. For the fade I would suggest starting it as is and then when you have opened most of it and have a better idea of what the fade will look like you can go stash diving and pick out a skien or two that will go nicely (either in the fade or a contrast/complementing colour). So excited for vlogmas!
For a moment then I thought you were going to say about the neighbours bathroom “I will be going to have a bath! At some point when it’s finished “ 🤣🤣
So happy today, I've watched 5 vlogmases (is that even a word) Seeing snow made me extra happy. One day I hope to be able to afford a yarn advent, in the meantime I will love yours from afar. Hope Dan and Phoebe get well quickly xx

We had a few millimeters of snow Thursday night which froze over night and is still hanging around as we have had freezing fog all day.Hope everyone feels better soon.

We just had a lot of mist in the West Midlands today. I have just got back from a childrens Christmas concert. My husband plays in a brass band so I spend a lot of time at concerts at Christmas.
I crocheted the same pattern on your recommendation a few years ago, l had an elderflower stitches rainbow fade held with a plain sparkle and coordinating suri alpaca yarn, it is an absolute favourite, but l do think the fade makes it work, so good choice to stick to the order, look forward to watching it come together ❤🎄🧶

I'm catching up with the vlogmases as we had my mil over for a few days so I didn't get to sit down and watch any. I have two advents this year a lovely one from Bird Street Yarns and a scrappy swap. I didn't get my packets out the boxes as mil has dementia and the little bags look like sweet bags and I could imagine her going through them all looking for a treat. I look forward to seeing your makes as the weeks go on.😊

For some reason, watching this really made me happy...must be all the beautiful advents that I get to see each time you open them. I guess the snow too is making me feel excited. We are having rather gloomy grey weather here and it's at a pleasantly 24 C. It's raining at the moment here too...

Lucky girl what a beautiful shawlanket it’s going to be, could you count your stripes on your original and then divide that number by the grams you used and that should then give you a number to work out with the grams you’ll have with a homespun house.
