I love everything of Sanderson's I've read so far! But I'll warn you, the Skyward series is NOT complete yet! So if I were you, I'd read Reckoners first. 😉 I loved Choose Your Own Adventure books as a kid. I've never heard of the ones you got! Guess I'll be on my own adventure now... looking for those books! If they're not too rare, that is.
Good tip re Reckoners. The green spine Fighting Fantasy books are increasingly rare, especially the later numbers. The ones in the 50s go for hundreds of dollars. But yeah, they’re heaps fun! They’ve recently done new prints of some of them that you can buy new
Nev you must listen to the audiobooks for First Law, the narrator is incredible. He has written 10 books so far , First Law Trilogy, 3 stand-alones that are really a continuation of First Law then the Age of Madness Trilogy which continues in time after the Stand alones…one short story collection, prequels to the first book!! If you get a chance watch some of the interviews the author has done with the Brothers Gwynne & Mike’s Book Reviews.
Took me a little while to find the correct edition on goodreads. The Gardens of the Moon is the first Bantam Books edition published in 2000. And yay for completed series!
Wow! I wish I had a book fair like that to attend. I haven't seen any of those covers before, must be Australian editions. Goodbye Mr. Chips, I haven't read that but have heard of it. Possibly had Peter O'Toole in the movie? Plenty of reading ahead of you. You must have lots of book shelves plus I see you have the double layers. How do you arrange them?
Wow, I just looked it up - there was a musical version with Peter O’Toole?! The version I’ve seen was the 1939 one. My book shelves are arranged roughly by type then by author alphabetically. Major groupings are fantasy, sci-fi, d&d, thriller, Christian, literature/other, biography, non-fiction, kids/ya. I’m rapidly running out of space even with the double layering! And the double layering also means doing a shelfie tour may require a lot of work.
I have no real input except for I just came across this channel and I love it. Keep up the awesome videos Nev! Enjoying them greatly
Awesome! Glad you like them!

Mike is amazing how many authors he gets on his channel!
I’m generally not an audiobook guy. Is there a way of listening to a sample?
Malazan! I have never seen that cover of Gardens of the Moon or of Memories of Ice. And yes, Abercrombie has finished that series.

Just started the Abercrombie. It is complete! so dive in!
Hooray for completed series! I just need to get the other book(s) first...
Very excited to hear what you think of Red Rising!
Me too! Gotta get them all first. Have you started on the latest one?
Not yet! Going to start it on Monday!
