Great picks. I don't think I've ever actually seen that style of cover for Wheel of Time before. Will be interested to hear your take on King of Elfland's Daughter!
Always so happy when I come across another booktuber who reads Matthew Reilly, usually people haven't heard of him. I really need to re-read the Jack West Jr series, I've read the first four and then never carried on, and I want to start again from the beginning. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series!
I'm most interested in Lord Dunsany, and also Goodbye Mr.Chips. Like you, I saw it many years ago, and it was uplifting, but I'll let you read it for me. 😇
Some great reads in there Nev, I loved the fighting fantasy novels as a kid. The only one on the list I haven't read was Matthew Reilly, I'll need to take a look at that. I loved reading through all the Bond novels, they're great. Little Prince is one of those 'you have to read at least once' Enjoy mate
So excited to hear you talk about The Shadow Rising. right now I'm finishing it (I started the series in January of this year and I can't believe on already on book 4. I'm reading diverse books so I don't read WoT back to back and somehow end up blurring the plot line of each books with on another) And omg which edition is the HDM from ? That is superb ! If it's an American based edition I will probably never have one in France :/
@@NevsBookChannel oh wow ok interesting. Quite a gamble to buy all of those books 😅 I'll check that out soon and will be very intrigued to follow your journey. I'm considering a reread next year (it's my favourite series).
@SamNot-so-wise nice. They’re mostly all secondhand. A friend actually bought me the first 6 or so books in the series back when that was all that were available!
Added The King of Elfland's Daughter and Seven Ancient Wonders to my List. 👍
Great! Hope you like them

You and me both. Re the cover, they’re the original covers from when wot was first published
Truly excellent TBR!
Thanks!

Thanks Alex! Yeah, he doesn’t seem to be mentioned much. They’re so fun - pure pop corn entertainment
Looking most forward to your Amber Spyglass experience, and of course Lord Dunsany, which I won't DNF, I promise!
Hehe. I’ll let you know when I’m thinking of starting it. Probably around Nov 11 when I get back from NZ

I’m thinking I’ll read it and then do a re-watch. Thanks for commenting!

You’re reading them faster than me then! I have no idea about that edition of HDM - all my copies are so different
Judging by your shelves, is it correct to assume this a reread for WOT?
No! First time through. You can watch my eye of the world video for some context (my second ever video)
