My predictions: The Emperor's Soul - 4 Ship of Magic - 4 Warlock of Firetop Mountain - 5 The Shaping of Middle Earth - 4 The Subtle Knife - 4 How to be a Pirate - 4 Mostly Harmless - 3 Edge of Tomorrow aka All You Need is Kill - 4 Crime and Punishment - 4 Five Have a Wonderful Time - 4 Billy - 4
Ive only read a coupke of those, but Crime and Punishment was wild. My world shrank when reading it and by the end I felt I had committed a crime... I like the idea of a per day page target. Tempted to do a bit of a read along both so i can see how that works, and to have some context on your reviews at the end
That would be great! The target can be hard some days depending on the book. I’m reading the History of Middle Earth at the moment and it’s slow going - about an hour for 15 pages. So I read some of that and then 20 pages of something lighter. Thanks James!
Hey! I’ve been watching your channel for a couple months now and really appreciate your style (no frill and no montages of different shots of you reading😅) This sounds like a great lineup! I’m reading through His Dark Materials now and I enjoyed The Subtle Knife. I bet you’ll give it 4. I just started Amber Spyglass. So we’ll see how Pullman ties it up.
Most people recommend Mistborn. And I think that’s probably a good place to start. And I actually think it’s fine to start with Elantris too. Emperor’s Soul is also fine if you just want to dip a toe in.
My predictions:
The Emperor's Soul - 4
Ship of Magic - 4
Warlock of Firetop Mountain - 5
The Shaping of Middle Earth - 4
The Subtle Knife - 4
How to be a Pirate - 4
Mostly Harmless - 3
Edge of Tomorrow aka All You Need is Kill - 4
Crime and Punishment - 4
Five Have a Wonderful Time - 4
Billy - 4
I love the Edge of Tomorrow movie, but never bothered to check if it was based on a book. Happy to hear it, added to my TBR! Happy readings!
And it’s nice and short. Thanks for commenting!

Hey Adam! Thanks for your kind words! I’m guessing 4 but hoping for a 5. We’ll see eh? Enjoy your reading!
Nice one Nev, I've gotta say, Brandon Sanderson is on my tbr as well. I've yet to read any of his novels, I'm trying to figure out where to start
