Y'all please don't post spoilers, even if it is something subtle that will be made explicit in later episodes. Let Dan discover them on his own just the way the series writers and directors meant him to, just as we did when we watched the show for the first time.
Please stop apologising for pausing..... You are one a very few reactors who hit the pause and imo its better to voice what you need while still fully immersing yourself into the episode, so many jabber away over the dialog and miss things

I don’t know why I still apologise! Clearly this fanbase love it. Unfortunately some of the other shows I’ve watched haven’t come with as awesome fans as TWD. I’ll do my best, thank you for the comment 😊
@@DanReadd I cant wait until you get to season 9 one of my favorites seasons! And with one of the saddest episodes! But we get villians as evil as the governor and negan so I CANNOT wait till you see them. I'm SHAKING!!!!!!
The Governor is played by actor David Morrisey. I know you are a Doctor Who fan. He was in an ep with David Tennant and he thought he was the Doctor. He is outstanding as the Governor.
Merle has returned! This episode was a really good introduction to Woodbury.
I never noticed the first time I saw this episode, just how much the Governor's wife in the photo, looks like Andrea. It settles the question I've always asked as to why he wants to keep Andrea at Woodbury.

LOVE that you pause to give your thoughts. When reactors do not pause they miss so much in a show. If you ever think about reacting to another show, it would be interesting to see you react to the TV show Lost from network ABC starting in 2004 (six seasons).

This was an amazing introduction to the governor and Woodbury! I loved that Merle wasn’t forgotten and I can’t wait to see the next couple of reactions 😊 keep up the great work man and thank you for pausing and speaking your mind. When you don’t pause the show and you keep talking you miss certain parts of dialogue that are important so keep pausing !! Don’t apologize

When I saw the tank full of walker heads, I was like, ' Oh, he's crazy CRAZY'. Are we really shocked Andrea was falling for the Governor's bullshit when she fell for Shane's lol?
Yeahhh… ughhh I wanna like Andrea so bad 🫠 - I mean I still do, but I feel there’s so much more coming for her.
I mean, Andrea was barely surviving out there and got sick and almost died lol. So when she see's a place like Woodbury, I think most people would want to stay and at least rest up a little and check it out for themselves. Better than almost dying. Hell, I would want to stay too.
I would have pet walkers to carry all my supplies haha.

While there is a Woodbury in Georgia, that's not Woodbury. It is actually Senoia, which is about 25 miles south of Atlanta. I have been there and looks just like in the show without the barriers. They have a store dedicated to the Walking Dead there.
If your friend that has helped you survive for months doesn't feel that a certain place is safe, why not trust her. If a man keeps saying you'll get your weapons back and you can leave but doesn't actually let you leave, why trust him. Seeing the Governor having a quiet evening at home looking at a bunch of animated Walker heads in fish tanks was so sickening.

I love David Morrissey as the Governor. He became one of my favorite characters as soon as He entered the show. I even bought the books about him by Jay Bonansinga and Robert Kirkman.

You may want to go back an watch those tanks a tad closer particularly the top one, they are easy to miss when there is shock to what the Guv’na has going on with those tanks, there are 3 that were added since Andrea and Michonne arrived, 🙂

@@DanReadd yeah, as soon as I heard you say you thought someone said the pilot was dead but could not remember (the Guv’na tells Michonne that when she is inspecting all the bullet holes in the stuff they just brought back, he says ‘thank god no one knew him’) and if he was not you were sure they would kill him, I figured you must have missed it, so I figured I better tell you, 👍😏🙂

I’ve been to “Woodbury” (Senoia, GA). It’s an adorable little town. Highly recommend going on a Walking Dead location tour after you’ve watch the whole series. There are some really cool places!
I love how The Governor operated. He's smart and took out threats nearby and would do anything to protect his community and had to lie to his people to paint himself as the hero. There is no bigger villain in TWD than The Governor imo :D.

imo its better to pause and then say what you're thinknig, rather than just talk through the entire episode and miss important things because you are too busy talking, thats why i like it when you pauze to give your opinions and thoughts
Andrea skeptical? Lol. I think you mispronounced Michonne. Andrea's gullible, naive ass is enchanted by the Governor from the start. Of course, you know this by now. I just recently found you and I've been binging the hell out of these vids!
