Hi, Daniel. Great reaction, as always. The scene where Daryl is about to open the door where he finds Carol focuses on him outside the door trying to build himself up emotionally to kill what he believes is likely Carol as a walker. That is why he is pacing around and stabbing the floor and trying to work up his courage to kill someone he already cares about so much. I always loved the way they portrayed Daryl's emotional sensitivity in this scene, but a lot of reactors do not seem to pick up on this or either they just don't mention it. Love your insights on this awesome show! Looking forward to the next one.
Agreed. I've also seen reactors who think because Daryl has poor grammar and probably little education that he's stupid. I've always found him to be a quick thinker who's often ahead of others in his assessment of situations. Personally I prefer Daryl as a father substitute rather than Shane. Daryl is rough around the edges but I think Shane was a lying, narcissist p.o.s., lol.
@@marthapackard8649 Totally agree. By this point in the show it was pretty clear cut to me that Daryl has way more loyalty, compassion, and common sense than Shane ever had. He's an infinitely better father figure than Shane could or would have ever been. People who think that Daryl is dumb probably aren't too sharp themselves. I saw some reactors who thought that back in S1 on the roof with Merle's hand, that Daryl was being racist when he asked T-Dog for a do rag 😂😂 Like wtf, seriously?!! Firstly, there's nothing racist about that. Daryl and T-Dog would be who I'd be asking first for a bandana, as a person who uses them myself. Secondly they paid no attention to his change in body language, facial expression, or vocal intonation and completely missed that it was his way of saying to T-Dog "I'm not mad at you, are we cool man?" I quit watching that channel, I gave them like 2 more episodes and couldn't handle how obtuse they are lol.
That ending scene has always been epic for me. Rick holding his baby for the first time had me crying happy tears and then Michonne rolling up at the fence ahhhh its so good. Poor Rick Hallucinating everyone the group lost :(. It really shows that he's taking on all guilt.
Great reaction, Daniel, as always. Tripping through your thoughts is so close to my first-time watch - and always being on edge is what this show does, where it puts you, second to none! The reconnection with Lori was part of the original graphic novel, though handled slightly differently. Even so, great writing showing us a man dealing with mental trauma - acted so well with Andrew Lincoln. I think it's great that, even in a zombie apocalypse, they'll still deliver right to your door!
Sweet pooch there Dan! I too was exited when Rick and Michonne locked eyes. These are two power houses. Me I just love Michonne. So creative with her biter gram! What do we see in her so far? Shes compassionate having taken care of sick Andrea all winter, loyal, very smart, bad a""with her katana, and beutiful. Add to that, a good judge of character.
So glad to have a video come out today. Had to leave work early bc there was hail & tornado watch by my farm. Got some warnings for tonight too. It's just good to have something to keep my head occupied 😁
Yes phantom limb! I’m not a doctor, but i am paraplegic and phantom limb is crazy at first. Now after 10 years its just normal to still feel like your toes are moving or your kicking your legs.
im so happy i found your channel by random. Every reaction channel just do same thing. here is our patreon to enjoy it a bit. On YT i spit 10min max giving no look how they enjoy show or not
Great reaction Dan! And yeah, I love that ending scene so much and the score is the main reason. It's the first time we hear "A Return to Compassion" (Which is my favourite TWD score). Regardless, I'm super excited to see your thoughts on what's to come here this season.
7 grunts. Never change Daniel
“Ohgghhh” 😲

I like how you never questioned how the phone had power.

Rick Grimes is almost like Wreck Grimes at this point, but so well played by Andy Lincoln. :)
I had the same reaction as you to Rick on the phone. Was so confused! Welcome back Carol 😊

Daryl knew where she was he was just afraid it would be like what happened with Sophia

I'm late. I'm gonna count the grunts just for you Daniel. You seriously give a great reaction.

Question Daniel? Who would be your group? You can only choose 3. Food for thought
