Creating these videos requires me to listen to the same song repeatedly for 3-7 days straight, somewhere around 60-100 times. I always listen with headphones on and have learned these songs INTIMATELY.
The beautiful thing is that even though I’ve been listening to all of these songs since their release or early childhood if it preceded me, I always notice something new. I’ve decided to start leaving a comment with each one stating what I've learned.
I’m also going to be including the artist/song/link as a recommendation for anyone who may want to explore a bit more. It may be one some of you know already, or could be completely new. There are many songs I want to make compilations for… but there are too few reactions. lol
Something I never noticed before making this compilation for “The Chain”: the bad ass crescendo of the keyboard during each chorus. WOW!
I highly recommend: The Clarks - Born Too Late (they have a lot of good stuff!)

Your editing ability is on point, but you are talented to highlight the song and the rectors! Brilliant! 🙌
@@angelagreen778 Thank you very much. 😊
I watch the reactions to the same song a lot,and find it very entertaining. Any Lynyrd Skynyrd of course is great, once I spent 2 days listening to Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice, the reactions were great . People went from tying to hate it to actually loving it. Thanks for doing these montages.
Love your work. ❤
This is a killer song and I really hear John and Mick always, even tho Lindsey, Stevie and Christine are right there, those 2 from beginning and especially the end.
Seen plenty of reactions, fun to see parts you select and highlight, like chipmunk voice on 1. 😂
And it leads me to new reactors. 👍🏽
I have to say first that your editing is just getting better each time! On a personal note: This song has been background music in my life since childhood. I may have started taking some of it for granted. It is so satisfying seeing people love these songs for the first time! :)
The saying goes Taylor swift writes songs about her ex's, Stevie nicks writes songs about her ex and makes him play them.....
Funny thing, it’s also the reverse as well
No comparison ❤ Stevie
Oh, damn. 😂 That's brutal. Never heard that before.
But " Shacking up, is all you want to do." Is linsey Buckinghams lyric quip back at Stevie.
There are levels.
It wasn't just Stevie, Lindsay did the same thing to her (but worse ?) and all of them were writing songs about the others, Christine's tended to be a little more sensitive of peoples feelings, Stevie and Lindsay were breaking up thru many of there best songs and the animosity was coming thru in the feelings in the lyrics,
Not sure this is a relationship song tho
Wore this LP out in (1977) I was 17 still love it at 64
“I don’t know where this took me but I needed it” quote of the video
It's Mr Video is one of the most genuine reactors on YT. I love his stuff.
I like seeing people who wouldn’t normally give music like this a chance but because they’re a reaction channel they check it out and realize what real music is!
Same, man. I love just about every genre, and even the stuff I don't love I still like at least a few songs. Like seeing folks checking out some good stuff.
I enjoy seeing people enjoying great music
Translation: I like seeing black people like white music.
Which is fine.
@Eric Hodosh hell ya I do "Eric!"
Love this mash up, and nothing makes my heart happier than when people discover (new to them) music.... I feel closer to them all❤
I've said it before... I'll say it again.
There is a certain magic that happens when a band that all VIOLENTLY hate eachother gets in a studio! 💯
😂😂 Oh, damn. The stress, jealousy, and miscommunication under pressure works wonders. 😂
💯
💯💯
Hahaha! You're not wrong.
Its that they're all trying to say "Fuck you assholes" by trying to be better than the rest. It forces EVERYONE to try to step up and be the best.
SPITE and PETTY shit actually makes for great band music. The problem is that the best shit is usually the last. 💯
Man I love seeing people finding these songs I love and seeing them just FEEL them in their bones
I love when Mr. Video said "I don't know where that took me, but I needed that". Yup Fleetwood Mac will do that.
"I don't know where it just took me but , that was beautiful" yeah, that's Fleetwood Mac ❤️
Lindsey Buckingham the lead guitarist is so underrated!
Stevie Nicks was first woman to get into Rock and Roll hall of fame twice, With Fleetwood Mac and a solo artist
Imo Tina Turner should of been the first
Cause Tina did so much more solo
Good boy Bob
@@cjturner370 Totally agree !!!!!
@@aracelymoran2504
Thank you
Should've been in there three times. Fleetwood, solo, and general principle.
It takes the turmoil of 2 failing relationships to write music this powerful.
Christie McVies backing vocals are so haunting. You here them and feel them.
You all just took me back to 1977, a 17-year old teen sitting on his bedroom floor listening to this track via headphones and my brand new stereo. What an era to grow up in. Let the music play.
Lindsey Buckingham is a very underrated guitar player, great song, harmonies are the best
Their absolute best lineup with Buckingham and Nick's always fighting about their relationship, AND WRITING HIT SONGS ABOUT IT! That is classic rock baby.
This is always something that stuck with me. Without Stevie and Lindsay having a rocky relationship this magic never happens.
How they could create this and hold it together as long as they did blew me away, even though it wasn’t forever it had to be tough.
Taylor Swift writes and sings about her ex's. Stevie Nicks writes the songs then makes her ex sing them. Just sayin.
Actually, there are positives about each iteration of this band. I still think that Oh Well is the greatest Mac song, ever.
Bob Marley was 100% correct...music IS the medium that brings ALL people together.
I love this format where the song plays uninterrupted while switching among various reactors. And clearly it takes a lot of time and effort to edit. I am going to check out your other videos. Oh, and isn't it crazy how you can listen to a song 100 times and notice something new on the 101st.
Thank you. Yes it's a little tedious but the content is good so that makes it worth it. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment!
This song shows how great this lineup of Fleetwood Mac was and how great a guitarist Lindsey Buckingham is no question
If you young and don’t know about this song. This was written when there was a lot of drama and cheating going on in the band. They wrote the chain cause the chain was keeping them together.
"That was dirty!" Best line ever
You clipped some of the best people who react, reacting to one of the best songs. I became 14 again! Much love!
I saw Stevie Nicks live a few months ago. She's still on fire! She's in her 70's just rocking out and she does her famous shawl twirl.
played this over n over again 45 years ago when I was a teen...driving and listening to Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, Kansas, Boston, Foreigner, RUSH, Toto, Nugent, The Sweet Steve Miller...and the list goes on and on...long hair blowing in the wind...cruisin the strip with my friends....ahh...memories
This song was already iconic but when it was used in the UK as the theme for the Grand Prix it became sealed in history. Fleetwood Mac are awesome.
This whole album is great. It’s in the top 10 albums ever made. It’s one of those ones you put on and you don’t skip a single song.
This music is absolutely gorgeous, but I gotta say: The Solo at the end is SOOOO emotional and powerful! Thanks Momma, for bringing together this compilations!
Lindsey Buckingham.. you owe yourself a search of his music
I got this album when it first come out, many many years later still have it, along with others. My daughter is called Stevie. Love her. Xxx
I love that I get my classic rock fix, and my reaction fix, without pauses in the music. This is the only way I want to watch reactions from now on.
I can completely relate to that! I don't mind 1 maybe 2... but sometimes I will skip using a reactor that pauses multiple times. Especially if they say they are doing it so the video doesn't get blocked. I know this is a problem sometimes for some of them, but there are other ways to alter the video to prevent it from being blocked.
I also know that some people don't mind the pausing, hence a personal preference. Appreciate you taking the time to comment!
Stevie Nicks has graced the Walk in Roll Hall of Fame twice! Love her!!
Rumors is a sublime achievement and The Chain is a powerful piece of that. Chains keep us together, for good and for ill.
I am always suprised by how many people who haven't grown up listening to bands from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s. I am so immensely grateful to my mum and dad for all the years of beautiful music. I hope everyone gets to enjoy and cherish the older generations music. So much more effort and dedication to the craft of producing wonderful music from the singing to the instruments. Love it 💖
I couldn’t agree more with this comment, couldn’t be more appreciative👏
Right I’m only 27 my dads 63 so he would listen to rock n classic rock when I was younger but the older he got he change to country haha
+ Hey Man 60 and 70s mostly. 80s still get attention. 90s onward is their window.
I have all my dad's records from the 70's and 80's. I'm glad as a millennial that they raised me on amazing music. This is still my favorite song. From age 4 to 38. Always play it.
RIP Christine McVie 🙏❤️
Growing up listening to Fleetwood Mac was huge, Stevie and Christine were so good and showed girls we could do anything! Glad folks who have never listened to this are discovering it! The entire album is fantastic!
One of the best albums recorded in the 70's. Great work again.
Not just the 70s. One of the best albums recorded period.
@@scottboyle4596 Scott has spoken
There's also the Guardians of the Galaxy version
One of the greatest breaks up songs ever next to
-In the air tonight
-I hate everything about you
-Ain't gonna miss you when you gone
The 70’s was absolutely the best years to be a teenager, the most kickass music of all time always max out the system blown speakers were a way of life!!!! I still have my record album
My best memory is of hanging out by the basketball courts across the street from my friend's house while listening to Van Halen II on the speakers sitting on the window sills on ten. It rocked the entire neighborhood. This is circa 1979. The 70's were the golden age of rock and I am so grateful and privileged to have been born when I was. I was 16 years old.
Stevie Nicks wrote the song's lyrics but it’s Lindsay Buckingham’s lead guitar that drives it. The timing and tone is perfect.
The whole band wrote this song. Its made up of pieces of the band members unfinished songs.
@@williamosgood3565 True, It is the only song from the album with writing credits for all five members (Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Mick Fleetwood). But it was NIcks who wrote the lyrics about Lindsey Buckingham as their relationship was falling apart.
+ Erik Makai It was Lindsey who WAS the creative driving force musically in FM, and they know it. Threw him under the bus in the end sadly and broke the Chain
Yea those country guitar licks were nasty...they loved the southern sound
It's the little things, like the blackout when the music stops right before the singing starts, that add up to something fun and amazing. Mind, a great song to do it with doesn't hurt.
Thank you. 😁
I heard once that when they recorded this song band members were going through a break up. Going through a breakup and being able to still record this track. I think that shows professionalism. Nice cut.
I was 11 when "Rumours" came out, had a huge impact on me...this is seriously my favorite album ever...love the stories behind the music...still love their stuff
I was 4 when it came out and didn't really learn about it until I was a teen. This is one of my favorite albums, too :)
Same - no question.
You know your band is stacked when Stevie Nicks is your 3rd best lead singer.
Rumors was one of those once in a generation albums of truly great music. Only thing is the 60s, 70s and 80s had several groups pumping out once in a generation albums. This was truly an era of the best song writers and musicians. Rush, Yes, Kansas, Pink Floyd, Styx, Alan Parsons, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, I could go on.... If you grew up in this time as KTF said..." You are spoiled" because this music was abundant and just handed to you. It's very difficult to find music of this caliber anywhere today. It's there, but you really have to look for it.
And on and on and on
holy socks, your sound mixing is OUTSTANDING!!!
Wow, thanks!
Masterpiece! R.i.P. Christine😪
Mr Video is the best to ever do it IN MY OPINION. He may not be the biggest reaction guy but nobody brings it like him lol
Mr. Video is hilarious!!
@@ronaldmilner8932 his reaction to Paradise by the Dashboard Light is one of my favorite videos of all time
Have you ever seen his eaction to the Average White Band? (His first reaction that is..)
He said the Average White Band is in every average black movie!
That dude is hysterical!
The best band that ever lived. Ever.
Lindsay on guitar and Mick poundin the beats….man i miss them. When they replaced Lindsay in the band I think they had to hire three guitarists to fill his spot
I love you Stevie Nicks 💓
Stevie Nicks is a GODESS
One of my favorite songs of all time 💯
These reactions are why Fleetwood Mac is one of the greatest bands to have ever existed
I'm only sixteen and I'm incredibly grateful that my parents raised me on music from their generation, modern music could never compare.
The chain is such an incredible song and it makes me so happy whenever I see other people from my generation appreciating it.
Came for the BBC F1 intro, stayed for the drama and Stevie Nicks , arguably one of the best bands ever.
Fleetwood Mac was filled with extremely talented musicians and for those of you who aren't familiar, the sheer number of hits this band produced is mind numbing. Start going thru their musical catalog and enjoy..
Wondermom..much love and respect and success..you always come through..and recognize your listeners..keep it real and keep it coming..Props..fo show
Lindsey Buckingham is CRIMINALLY underrated on the history of guitar players! 💯
Daaamn…to this day, this song STILL gives me chills…the idea of a once promised but lost love. Man…the heartbreak memories that flood back from years gone by. Mmm-Mmm-Mmmm…
This is the 3rd montage I've listened to today. UA-cam led me to you.
Making these montages takes a lot of work. You've mastered it.
Keep up the excellent work.
I'm happy you found them! Many thanks!
@@WonderMommaOG I absolutely LOVE your montage..and I watch most of the re-actors anyway..this was special...From the UK!
@@margaretflounders8510 Cheers! Thank you!
That bass line is so crispy
Back in 75 , 76, i was 16 years old 😉 now 64 .... San Antonio , Texas
It makes me so happy to see a new generation appreciating the music that I grew up with as a teen. Y'all bring me tears to my eyes. Thanks, WonderMommaOG!
Totally agree, I have been watching this all evening and love the reactions while sailing back to my youth, thank you!
Rumours...pretty much the whole album is about Lindsey and Stevie's breakup but oh what an album and sound!
Greatest thing about this album. Whole thing is great. My friends best memory of me growing up is this album. Was cool to hear that. ❤
This is what I grew up listening to. Mom and Dad had their big console stereo playing on weekends, with all their friends over, drinking beer and having a great time.
Every single song is good on this album.....!
You have single handedly minimised my “search” efforts. You, awesome person, are my new hero.
😊😎
v12s and this are the sound i fell in love with F1
This album literally changed my outlook on life and so many others without them even knowing. Music Talent at a level very few reach. This was always my favorite song on the album.
Kinda OT but related: I've been trying to get ANYONE to react to Frozen Love / Buckingham Nicks (an album Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks did before they joined Fleetwood Mac. I seriously believe that song is one of the best recordings ever made.
Love your compilations
The second half is imprinted on the brain of most people of a certain age in the UK from the formula 1 coverage on a sunday back in the day.
I only connected the two years later and this album is amazing.
The best thing about 'The Chain' is that the entire album is building this tension of a sad love story and then this comes on and completley breaks all this tension. Despite all of the fallouts and drama Fleetwood Mac remains 'together'
Stevie got Lindsay kicked out
@@cjturner370 Lindsay is literally the creative force of fleetwood mac.
Complete chills when this song starts. Phenomenal, intense, and timeless.
Excellent skill at creating this mashup and great selection of reactors!
Stevie Nicks is a beautiful talented human!
Love ❤
The last part was the formula one TV intro in the UK for many years, cracking song
AWASOME
Best comment ever," That is dirty." Brilliant.
When their self-titled album came out in 1975, we knew something huge was about to break loose in the music world, and "Rumours" was it. The summer of 1977 saw we music fans in ecstasy, as we listened to single-after-monstrous single roll off this stunning masterpiece. Nicely done, ma'am.
This is the music I grew up with...It makes me happy to see and hear younger generation learning about music of my generation...Music was just different then...songs habitually spoke to our souls.
I expect your subscribers to increase quite a bit when more of these compilations get out there. The time and effort required to put out such quality videos is appreciated. I look forward to more.
lol thanks. I love that people are liking the work I do, but I'm not doing it for oodles of subs. Quality over quantity for me ALWAYS. Appreciate your kind words!
I have found some of the most entertaining reactions from the song "Roundabout" by the band "Yes"
Thank you so much for this reaction montage to my favorite Fleetwood Mac song. It was awesome to see so many people hear it for the first time and be so moved by it.
I love seeing this generation getting so IN to the music from the 60's 70's 80's and 90's . puts a smile on my face every time. thanks for putting these montages together.

Love this song, thank you for putting this together. This whole album is gold!
Momma comes through again! You're spoiling us! Another magnificent piece with a stellar song choice. Thanks, Momma!!
Truly appreciate all you’re putting out! Thanks again! You killed it! 🙏
Dynamics of good music run deep in our souls
What is it about fellow human beings sharing the love of music that makes so many people just want to watch and hear their reactions? It’s a neat phenomenon!
Incredible! Watch them do it live (much older) in Sept 2018. Always reminds me of F1 car racing 🏎 🏁 😁
How to say you used to watch F1 on the BBC without saying you used to watch F1 on the BBC. 🏎
“Rumours” went with me to S. America in 1978, where I became very ill. I laid in bed for about two weeks waiting to go home, listening to the album on cassette almost non-stop. It’s an important part of my life, especially _Chain_. Thanks for compiling this one. 💖
Thank you, for keeping my genre of music alive. 1979 baby
Nobody writes their heartbreak pain like Stevie Nicks.
Boom Stevie nicks is that good
I first heard this beautiful song at my 11year old nieces funeral,it was a freak medical issue .But she was an amazing little girl whom i loved dearly,i she would have gotten her drivers license this year, i ofthen wonder why her ? Just as we all do i wonder what type of person she wiuld be now in our crazy world?an amazing person im sure
Back in the mid 70s I was 16 years old , I'd already lived a lifetime , i'm 63 years old now...
Many reactions to Lindsey's guitar sustain, how good it sounded.. flashed back my distinct recollection of seeing them in 78 in San Antonio, 10th rew, and how his sound just reverberated through the auditorium, and through my head. Easily one of my top 10 concerts I've ever seen!
+ videodavideo When that black girl sayin "That guitar is cryin" she nailed it. Literally he was and put it all in that guitar. Watch him and Nicks go at it in their epic Mirage concert and his guitar cryin literally. It was insane. Check it out.
