    Followed this step by step a few days ago, and my issue ended up being the timer also! Thanks!

    Thank you for sharing your time and expertise. Your video was thorough and helped me diagnose the problem quickly …a failed timer. I ordered a new timer online from Genuine Repair Parts, installed it, and the dryer is working perfectly.

    Thanks for the video. I'm not sure what I did. Banged on the sensors on the heat box. Messed around. Then looked in the heat box and finally got it working. Guessing a sensor is going. I had no heat

    Hi. So I had the samw problem, wveryrhing worked but no heat. So I replaced the thermal fuse and dried 4 loads of clothes and it went out and wouldn't start at all. So then I replaced all the thermostats and thermal fuse and heating element but the new heating element didn't work so I put the old heating element back in with the old thermostat(forgot to switch new one) and dried 2 loads of clothes. But my heating element was touching and burnt up. When I try to turn the dryer on I can hear the timer trying to do something but nothing happens. No clog, belt is fine. I just want to be sure I need a timer too bc this is the 3rd fix and that timer is a little pricey. Does it sound like the timer to you?

    As soon as he started prodding the wires, I knew that I would have to buy a new dryer as that shits to complicated for my basic mind 😅

    Where can we find the timer like a regular store or jus Amazon??

    • @DIYRepairsNow
      @DIYRepairsNow  2 роки тому

      They don’t sell appliances parts in regular stores you would have to search for appliance store around your area that sells to the public because normally even if you find a store that sells parts for appliances they only sell to appliance repair companies so you’re probably gonna find a few they their sale to the public but they probably mark the price so it’s gonna be more expensive if you buy an Amazon you get a better price thanks for watching my video

    Didn't show how to actually test timer with ohm meter. Had to watch someone else's video
