Hey thanks man. Looks super easy. So glad to see a video where your not removing the rivets. You saved the day. I appreciate your making and sharing this video. Your Awesome
Yeah that one video that said you had to drill out the rivets caused me to NOT fix my speakers for years! When I finally mustered up the courage to fix it, I watched the video again and had a theory. Tested it and it worked so I knew I had to make a video to share!
I did it today with my S80. Your video helped. I couldn't find a good S80 video for it. I broke the speaker out of the frame. It was really hard. Then I noticed it could be rotated out. Wish I knew that before. Soldering. And the holes were pre drilled. Still a success 🙌 Edit: Hmm, there was also glue, so rotating may not have been possible.
Looks like you can just remove the adhesive (gently pry and use hairdryer) from the old speaker and rotate anti-clockwise instead of breaking the plastic retainer slots...
JVC CS-J620. But like I said in the description of this video, these were the cheapest ones on Amazon at the time. I don't endorse these. It's not that they sound bad, but they don't sound great either. They just...work. If I had to guess, they might even be a little worse than the factory ones based on magnet size alone. If you just want something to work, then these will do the job. But if you want it to sound really good, probably buy something else. For me, I didn't care too much about the bass coming from them cause I have a 12 inch subwoofer in the back so I only care that it provides mid-range.

Very good 🙂🙂
What size are the rear and front speakers?
Read the description under the video. It answers that question and possibly more.
@@smc1377 I speak very little English
@@huseyintuncer4567 No problem. They are 6.5 inches. Both the front and rear.

Is the 2 colored cable the + or the - pole?
2-colored câble is the negative, the single color cable is positive.
JVC model??

Hi, what speakers are these? I’m looking to replace my farting ones
In the video description above, I reference the specific make and model of the speakers I used.
