Dope collab! I was on Varsoon at launch and made it to like 44 on my Assassin before I kinda got distracted with work and other things. Lack of a real guild didn't help either. How's the server doing these days?
I gave some thought to trying out EQ2 (never played it), but after trying EQ1 I'm not sure if I want to, EQ1 is, well, pretty bad. Really bad, the last time I tried it. 6 teams of boxers locking down all the best camps, getting trained nonstop, etc. If EQ2 is better I might give it a try but I have zero desire to fight the Krono legions again.
@@IonBlaze1 - thanks for that. I don't mind boxers, I have 2 boxed myself. (just to get exp, not to claim drops/camps etc.) But I always prefer having adventures with real people and making friends on the way.
I’ve been playing eq2 for 3 days and I’m only lvl 22. The game is amazing honestly! But I can see where it falls flat. Segregation of player base based on f2p or subs is flawed and probably the biggest reason why the games dead. There’s also no world chat to free players and the auction house costs real money to trade. All things that should be open and free to everyone in a mmo. They should have just charged a sub for everyone and only made cosmetics in the pay shop. It’s sad actually because This game is so good. If they make an eq3 hopefully they don’t do the same.
Ayonic = Tell Hammackj to get EQ2 maps - I sent him a video and he still hasn't watched it =p. His playthrough is painful to watch every time he opens the map.
Varsoon is already dying, the few guilds that eeked past the mobs before they got beefed up to hell like Talondar, and are in Deathtoll. All they do is troll the other guilds saying we got to the top of the mountain why can't you? Well because we have 0 recruiting pool, the mobs hit for 100k instead of 10k like they did for you. So in turn this server is now Dead, and people are already fleeing it.
@@IonBlaze1 yeah its sad, cause i want to love everquest 2. But the recent increases to the raid mobs and the absolute garbo coming from the non Deathtoll raids is having me basically cancel my sub. I'll head over to ESO at least its alive and not catering to people who should be playing P99 if they want a challenge.
@@vinchetti_spaghetti yeah well let Deadcandance have his way and the whole servrer is gonna get banned soon. Toxic toxic behavior on the whole server. Raid mobs hit like mack trucks on steroids and the only way to beat it is with Guardian ToS ability and ROA and JCAP on them asap to bring it back, along with 3 healers in MT group. no other tanks in raid and enough people to do it. But i guess you are raiding at 5ish-7ish EST so there ya go, there is where 80% of the server is at and raiding, even Pacifica is having to PuG. So yes all of it is true.
Sad that i've seen Freeport during the times from launch go from players running around in bulk to less than 30. That is during the times i play. But I guess i must be talking out of my butt. This server got wrecked by bots quickly by the Extra Life event BADLY.

How do you get that yellow trail in game for quests
The pack that includes the 100 slot 100% reduced broker fee is also a good pay 2 win item.
If you want an amazing Wizard build, look up Kardell Goldha on EQ2Wire. She always focused on the most damage.

Ooof I'm sorry you had to deal with that. Everyone hates the krono farmers. It's not really a thing on EQ2 despite boxing being more permissive.

I have to disagree. Debuffs are just as important solo and grouping.
I guess I’m one who uses all my kit even when solo.
Hmm, I probably overlooked that. Yeah str debuff while soloing is probably a bigger help than even grouping

Yeah I was shocked to hear Knights or the Dragon or something could barely find people to raid. It's getting tough
